@burakxs Fair point, but remembr this is the c5 version of the audi rs6 not the c6 version(572hp), infact it has 450hp and 413 ft-lbf of torque and awd against the bmw m5 in this video which is the E39 m5 which had 394 hp and yes only rwd, so fair enough the audi has the power and traction advantage, but these rs6' only came with automatic transmissions against the bmw's 6 speed manual.Remember in the real world the audi would prboably be faster as awd so on wet roads it would have an advantage.

Also, another reason I think your better off with an M5 is build quality. Their electrics are more reliable and Audi also have issues with giving independents their software, forcing you to visit Audi to have mechanical work to carry out... It's a joke and takes the p'#s. for this reason alone I wouldnt touch an audi.. BMW all the way (easy to get copy DIS/GT1 BMW software for like £20...

@94XJ fair call, actual times vs specs are pretty far apart. we have stock standard xr6turbo's doing 12.6 on the quarter mile and the FPV F6 goes as low as 12.3. surely thats close to the rs6 or m5? it shares the same auto ZF6speed gearbox as bmw :D I have only spent 3.5grand Aus on bolt on mods and tune which i think is pretty good considering it will crack 300kph quite easily

I have an RS6 (572bhp) previously had an M6 Problem with M6/5 is the gear box, brutal but unpredictable. Driven at 95% all the time with M button down it is a hoot and magnificent fun, as is oversteer. But no one wants that all the time passengers get fed up. In RS6 you can get to the limit and really enjoy the feel, the tail will go if you really push it (don't forget all those horses). The real fun, as in this video is the unbelievable acceleration at already ridiculous speeds. Also have F430.
