  • Ride on trains can be several different scales. 1/12th, or "inch to the foot" is fairly common, as is 1/8th. They are generally classified by track size, with 7.5" rails being the most popular, and 7.25" being the next most popular. There's no fixed scale because to fit on 7.5" rails different era equipment needs to be scaled differently to make riding on it possible. While the locomotives don't have to be steam, googling "live steam miniature railroad" will likely get you the most info.

  • what is the scale of trains where you can actually sit on them and their are gas powered?

  • I would like to do g scale but I only have room for n scale. cool.

  • I saw my self!!!! I also saw your speed trap modual. the man was explaning the infra red beam on the passing trailer train that was going 51.2mph

  • @highlownigga973 I'm glad to know that a universal hobby that makes people of all ages come together and have a good time contains intolerant people like you. But with your intelligently designed screen name, my expectations shouldn't be set too high I guess.

  • Too much talking, not enough trains.
