The kit is at testers right now to determine how efficient it will be in real world situations, but that is about right. It is a little snappier than most spool valves, but not as loud as most poppets.

None on the market right now, but there have been in the past. Mayhem was a closed bolt spool valve.

Stock Ion gets a little over a thousand shots a tank, preliminary testing indicates that this can get over a case per tank.

The peak firing rate is diminished due to shootdown, yes. I'm honestly not sure how low it goes though as it depends greatly on the chamber pressure determining the recharge rates. I haven't tested devolumizing it and jacking up pressures yet, but a kit is on the way to a tester right now to try and determine some of these things.
