I work for Audi Hungaria, the TTs are built there. There's a short test track inside the factory, near one of the entrance. When I go home after a day's work, I love to hear TT RS-s thundering on that track. They sound so much better than the 4 cylinder or the VR6 (and the 2.0 TDI :D )

This is going to be insane when it comes to the hands of MTM/ABT/Oettinger and Co. Remembering the audi S2 5 cylinder engines from 2decades ago there are still highly tuned engines out here in germany . I'm just wondering what tuners will do to this monster , keeping in mind that they already tuned the basic 2.0L 4 Cylinder Turbo up to 400 HP.But even without aftermarket parts this car is plain stunning. I've driven s3's and TTS's and cant't wait to see how the TTRS will perform.Greez from GER.

Haha Audi has done the same thing BMW did, they have created a twin turbo motor that will allow its lesser variants to out muscle its so called high end variants. Now the TT-RS can out accelerate an R8, S6/S8 and RS4, Id hate to be an owner of those cars right now!

no, totally different car, this is a 4 seater GT car, GT being grand tourer, not made for performance primarly, but is a big part of the overall design. The R8 is a 2 seat super car. Built for a different purpose.

@priklodrakoulas Wow, if you think this car has the same performance than an r8, you are very mistaken. The TT-RS is comparable to Porsche cayman s, and in that respect, it is a very good drivers car. But it does not come close to the R8 V10. Handling, acceleration, stopping power, and aesthetics, it crushes the TT-RS.
