Ok, Here it is.He was going down head first, initially on his belly. He somehow ended up on his back and on an angle just before his approach to the standing water at the exit of the slide. Once he hits the standing water, his legs crouch up towards his chest, acting like a compressed spring by the sudden reduction in speed (inertia) His legs then violently re-extend in such away that their momentum propels him up on and down the rail. Case closed. He was on his back and going head first.
