i went to den for training and depending on what phase of training youre going to be going for, it can go from a week to 2 weeks. initial training is just a week; ground handling, signaling and such. if youre going to be going for ticketing and desk work such as a customer service agent, that can be as much as three weeks depending on what your general manager wants you to attain.
as for how was it...amazing. entertaining and knowledgeable trainers.
dude i work for skywest (united express) in DEN, and i love my job, >>>>>THE BEST AIRLINE ever......i dont care much about the pay, and the flight benefits, i just enjoy my job so much !!
Dude, nice vid. I'm right now in the "hiring pool" at Air Canada. Maybe one o'these days I'll post a YouTube video of the goings on at Air Canada @ YYC.
i really hope you do go with skywest. by far the best company ive ever worked for, quite possibly the best job ill ever have. i miss it every day, and ive worked for once other airline and atlantic aviation at our airport... good luck!
try to get a job flying private jets it will be the best job you ever had my uncle does he makes soooooo much money and travels to london ever major city in the world its really not that hard of a job to get also
You're quitting Delta to go work at SkyWest, isn't that going down the "airline ladder." Lol, If you did, I wouldn't blame you anyway, SkyWest looks like an awesome airline.
I have no idea how to do it OTS, I went to a CTI school and did it that way. Is BGM contracted out or are they FAA. They might be able to help u better than I can. I just did everything my advisor told me to do. Oh my video is up let me know what you think, just search skywest farewell
hey i did some TDY up there a couple of years ago. It was a fun time. I really enjoyed it. I'm still working on my farewell video from BNA still waiting on some pictures from fellow furloughed employees
oh it was way back in 2005 when bgm still had crj service. Yeah I really miss OO too. I'm currently working for american eagle and I can't stand it. Everyone is soo rude and out to get everyone else. But it's all good I just got my confirmation with the FAA to be a controller. Hopefully I'll have my video up soon.
yup, exactly what i did. fortunately, in a weird change of events, i now got rehired and work for Pinnacle Airlines working both United Express and Northwest Airlink 8)
I ground handled for United Express as well, but I was with Air Wisconsin Airlines. The worst job and company I have ever had to suffer for.
