Couchsurfing isn't about free accomodation - it's much more than that: cultural exchange, making an effort to be part of someone's life for a few days... the CS motto is "Changing the world one couch at a time".
Neat, just found this. Gave up the TV about 10 years ago. For the person who asked what couch surfing is, try to use the brain you have don't ask that everything be spoon fed to you.
i agree w. KristentDJ and kevinczarroque. i don't mind they they didn't feature the webpage, i appreciate for what it is. ultimately this is JUST a t-mobile commecial. i wonder if we'll see one of thee for vodafone coming soon!
Wow, I actually auditioned for this part like month and half ago. Cant believe this is already on air. Kewl to see how it came out and I did bad at audition lol.
I agree with KristenDJ. When I first saw the commercial I was stoked although I wondered if any people unfamiliar with CS would know what he was talking about.
Cool, but -- I have to wonder at their subtlety: there's no substantial clue as to what a CSer is, at least, not other than its literal value as "one who sleeps on couches"; for viewers who aren't in the know, would they even understand it? or just assume it's a person who simply doesn't have their own place? :) The fact that it markets to such a niche seems somehow anomalous, I think, for T-Mobile, but neat nonetheless. And too much clarification would probably have been unwise.
WOO HOO!!! Ya I wonder if Casey approved this. There is no shot out to cs web huh. interesting... lol love it, i got a text from my friend as soon as she saw the commercial. growin strong!!!
I don't know if CS was part of the production, but when they were casting they went to the CS group in San Francisco to find an actor. I know because the casting agency invited me to audition

I wish they added another couchsufer who welcomed the guy to his/her couch, then that would have tied it all. :)
