can you do a lesson on sight reading or help me out somehow? i've learned sweeping and all the stuff but i cant read music or anything like that i have to hear it and im trying to learn to read music for my jazz band class at school. Please and thanks
@calmclownful the sheet music will say it at the top. it will say something like 130bpm or swing 80. something will be written usually at the top that tells you.
great thanks..i have a favor to ask its quick..whether you can do it or not is ok i guess
1.go to nobuouematsu(dot)com
2.click on sheet music in the download area(you dont have to download anything only open it)
3.click on brass/sax then on "eyes on me" music
4.read the sheet music and if you can decipher it for me since you have experience...something like E,F,G,A,B,C,D,E,F,G etc add the sharp and flats if you can....this will definately teach me the hands on part..thanks for your help!!!!!
oh really awesome...im in the long beach area....hey i learned this pretty well it was worth it...i play trumpet and guitar...but right now im mainly focused on trumpet..can i use it to read sheet music for all instruments?...tht might be a stupid question but hey some people dont know that lol......thanks man
@TheDavidmerino yes, sheet music is sheet music. although depending who is drafting it up, they can add little things to it that are really more focused on piano, guitar, etc. but all in all, one size fits all. if you can read one, you can read all of them.
thanks

I'm still a little confused on how to know whether it's 60 second or 120 second beat.
