Are you using a Level 3 Hammer to kill the 9 Wraiths? I'm assuming you are, coz they die relatively quickly. I tried to kill 9 Wraiths using a Level 1 Hammer, but I was getting owned. I'll try winning with lvl3 hammer.
I beat the 9 Wraiths with a lvl 3 Hammer earlier today. I probably won't try to beat them with a lvl 1 Hammer, because I will surely die many many times, and so it will take me forever to beat them.
LOL I'm sure you died many times fighting them w/ lvl3 Hammer just like I did. It will take MUCH more time and patience with lvl1 Hammer. Especially with my stipulations about using RotT and magic. *forbidden*
I don't know if I ever got around to mentioning it but I later came back to fight them with the lvl1 Hammer and eventaully destroyed them with 1/3 of my health remaining. I've so far only once kept my full health against them but that was with the lvl3 Hammer.
Figures all I had to do to beat the Wraiths of Asphodel with the SoD was the same thing I did with the Hammer. I actually managed to do it with 9/10th of my health left which beats my best with the Hammer. Although this probably took about a time and a half longer. Grabbing kept getting me raped..
Those cackling fools never learn to press the attack. Wraiths of Asphodel however have no qualms about going all out. They managed to get me down to about 50HP out of 200H this time around. This would be my seventh or eighth victory over them.
~Thanks. You should give some of these challenges a go sometime. I'm sure you could handle them. We could even both look for ways of beating the Wraith challenge without the Hammer while staying to the rules (also the bonus rule)
Nicely handled on the Wraiths of Asphodel. I can tell Hammer/Fleecing works quite well. Are you going to try it with the SoD? That seems like it would be a lot harder (especially if the launcher forces them underground).

yeh I got the game when it came out I've beaten titan mode with the spear and once with the hammer and i don't like these challanges because they're too easy to do with the spear and or hammer so where can i find this guide?

Well yes I did find those fights easy by using the hammer but if you use just the spear it does tend to get annoying. Yes i have done a NUR and a speed run NUR I was going to do a NUR walkthrough for GameFAQS but I figured that there is enough youtube videos doing that already. have you done a NUR, if so didn't you find the Krakken harder than Zeus for some strange reason? Good job though on the 9 air kills in 45 seconds that right there proves that the spear is a formidable weapon.
At first I had trouble with the Kraken simply because I'm not a puzzle person and it was already 3AM *I wasn't used to it at that point* so my ability to figure what needed to be done was poor at best. When I faced him again later, knowing how to achieve victory I easily crushed him in Titan. It should be quite obvious I've already done multiple regular NUR/NUR+ and Bonus Play NURs. About three or four GK:TM:NURs.
While we are discussing the SoD..in context to the 9 Wraith fight. How would you handle it with just the SoD and grapples? Let's talk the BoO for that same fight while we are at it.

Lastly, the place from which you draw your final time (00:00:00) would need to be "The Loom Chamber" save spot after having killed Zeus. What might that time be?
Wraith fight: grab them just one time then use the staping move (forgot what it's called) followed by a shards (or if you're using the hammer also smash the bitch).

Yes a grab, when you grab them the others don't seem to attack you and when they are in the air either jump up and use shards or use the stabing move i still don't know the name (you do it for air kills) and if they still are alive (very unlikely) then shard them.

Sadly the viewers I get tend to be to dim to see my other videos so they assume I am without skill..worse yet they don't read descriptions/comments/credits where I keep saying that I just put a rubberband over square while I attended my other obligations.

(as oppossed to their other one) Not to mention they toss their arms enough that it becomes difficult to even get on in the air reliably without it becoming dangerous for yourself. The would never allow me to do the launcher-to-air stabs..not when there are 9.
A grab does about 10 damage, the launcher does 6, all the stabs will do 36 and Piercing Shards would do 20. That is on normal. On Titan it would be that times 0.75. There is no way a creature w/ 180HP will die that quickly. Jumping in the air with them to do Shards is incredibly dangerous.

Like I said before seperate them with the fleece and then grab then if you cannot stab jump and shard them. And BTW what is so difficult about sharding in the air, they throw their arms at the same time so timing is key.
i know you won't believe me and believe me as a froud but i don't have a camera and as you can see on CMNEIR's page I've asked him several times what camera he uses and how much it costs but he's yet to answer me. What camera do you use and how much did it cost because after buying a 360 Elite and a PS3 my budget is limited to $100 or so and on top of that I need to buy a GOW II becuase i sold mine for a Halo 3 reserve and a Ace Combat 6 reserve.
It isn't practical to bother with such a dangerous move when the pay off is minimal. I was much better off just doing what I do with the Hammer for the spear. (square hits instead) Once they thin out to 4 I can start having fun with them. "I'm as great as I say I am" you say? That's an interesting thing to say in regards to 'catching' you. In any event, I'll be messing with the BoO until I got batteries so that I can continue the Endurnace Run.

The only reason I had 9/10th health left w/ the SoD fight against them was due to parrying more often. Which is also why it took longer. The BoO's lousy blocking irritated me but I got through that with 1/2 health. Athena's Blades were a problem at first but if memory serves, I had 3/4th of my health left at the end. I feel I've roundly bested that challenge now.
A picture camera w/ video capabilities..not exactly top of the line. *3.2 MegaPixel* It is old tech after about three or four years I'd say..it was never meant for this sort of thing anyway.
If GoW ever had online *for multi-player of any sort* I wouldn't use it. I'm not interested in playing with others. Never have been. If they had extra content, downloadables, etc. I'd give it a try. From this commment you could deduct that my kind of game caters to the single player experience. I also love gore/brutality, greek mythology and tales of vengeance. Kratos being an anti-hero certainly helps.
I mostly keep to action/adventure titles and even then I don't play many different games. If I make a purchase I aim to play it for a considerable amount of time. (Ex: GoW1 for over 2 years) I also enjoy DMC3 and PoP. I'm sure I'd like Ninja Gaiden. I'm not the reaticve type..rather the kind of person who acts on familiarity. So I'd have a rought time getting used to NG just like I did with DMC. Unlike GoW, I won't get the chance to become an elite player in those titles.
You could say I have a narrow scoop for games I would actually play right now. In the past I've done Wrestling, FPS *never tickled my fancy much*, 3D fighting..and that's about it. As a harcore gamer I don't just play a few hours to beat a game I like..I have to master it..understand it..break it
Flight sims, shooters (of any type), a few RPG's, action adventure, pretty much anything but fighting and racing games. The only games I consider myself an ace in is Armored Core 4, Resistance: Fall of Man, Halo 2, and possibly Rainbow Six Vegas.
I'm not a FPS type. That's more my cousin's territory. What I am to God of War, he is to FPS in general. Unlike me he plays and loves online gaming. Where as I'm the console player, he is the PC player. So we tend to share each others worlds on occassion to see what's going on in a different domain from our own*.
I don't like Racing games. Armored Core is a great series..that is in serious need of a tune-up. I don't care about graphics as they are good enough. I want the physics, gameplay, STORY, etc. improved. They have LOTS of parts to work with but it all feels so...done. Seeing my enemy fold into a kneeling stance w/ tiny explosions around them as they fall from the sky is absurd to me.

A lvl1 Hammer is doable (ofcourse) but takes too long to be a good addition to my vids. So far my bests are:
Hammer - fastest wins, 1/2 health remaining
SoD - takes about 30 seconds longer, 9/10th HP left
BoO - a little longer then the Hammer, 1/4th HP left
Blades - about 1 min longer then Hammer, 3/4th HP left
~Keep me updated on your progress..you'll find that all weapons follow the same pattern for the safest/quickest path to victory..
