@HoofPrintedHeart88...the track had nothing to do with this crash, but running a horse full speed on that track was simply a demonstration of the reality of horse racing...first off, these horses are too young to be pushed that hard, second, the way they start isn't good for them and finally, the track is waaayyy too sloppy to be just walking on let alone at a full gallop...this could have easily been prevented by canceling the race due to weather conditions but due to the greed of horseracing.

They don't race untill well after they are two, which in my opinion is too young still, and my boss won't race a two year old. Our horses are stabled in minimum 20ftX20ft yards, and we always try to find a forever home for each horse before we even consider dogging it. You may have done some research, but I have over 2 years intensive experience.

I have had many mentors all of which have had a lifetime of experience, and they confirm that race horses now are looked after better than ever, because people are more aware, and the racing industry is governed so strictly that it's so hard to step out of line, because friend or foe, there is always someone watching to correct you, and the consequences are harsh.
