Thermite is not an explosive, it burns at very high temperatures but does not explode. To cause an explosion you would need other explosives as well but no evidence has been found to suggest this.

Also, why would engineers who built such tall buildings not consider things like how they would fall in an event like this? They would have designed them with these things in mind. I haven't even studied physics and even I understand that a building can collapse from the top down due to the incredible weight of the upper floors smashing into the lower ones. As each floor smashed into the one below, air trapped on that lower floor would be forced outwards, smashing the windows (the air-con would have switched off with the power so the air pressure would have built up with the heat).

Whew!!! Here we go again... Because of the combined weight, as the upper half begins to pancake downwards, the lower supports snap causing them to be flung outwards (very far). This sends debris onto Tower 7 weakening it. That's about as far as I can go with this debate. Here are more facts about the collapse of the WTC towers (and just to let you know, I'm not saying you're wrong about what you believe, this is just an explanation about physics). Once the supports of the burning part of the buildings have lost strength, they begin to fall. The lower supports without the burning fire have managed to keep their strength, but now their combined weight has been transferred to the lower supports. Low character count so further explaining!!!
jst1998 explained it squarely! The stronger a burning fire is, the more it weakens the rest of a building's integrity. Once the supports of the upper half of the WTC towers (which WERE VERY HIGH) were weakened enough, the weight was transferred to the lower half of the buildings, causing those supports the burst and give way. Please, take notice the south tower collapsed sideways because the plane hit it sideways. Let me explain other characteristics later!!!

Jesusplant is right. There was a load of gold in the basement of WTC that went "missing". Other than that though, to plant that many bombs in two different buildings of that size would have meant they would need to know when the bomb sniffing dogs were going to be taken out, as well as have complete access to every floor. Thermite is not an explosive, it burns at very high temperatures but does not explode. To cause an explosion you would need other explosives as well but no evidence has been found to suggest this.

The steel doesn't need to melt, just be weakened then the weight of the building does the rest. All this proves nothing. I haven't even studied physics and even I understand that a building can collapse from the top down due to the incredible weight of the upper floors smashing into the lower ones. As each floor smashed into the one below, air trapped on that lower floor would be forced outwards, smashing the windows (the air-con would have switched off with the power so the air pressure would have built up with the heat).

that column could have been cut during clean up. there isnt any proof it was cut before collapse.
second, even if they did take out the core, the building still shouldnt have collapsed, because the perimeter wall was load bearing, not the core. collapse videos show the top moving downwards, a controlled demolition isnt like this, the bottom moves first.

Whew!!! Here we go again... Because of the combined weight, as the upper half begins to pancake downwards, the lower supports snap causing them to be flung outwards (very far). This sends debris onto Tower 7 weakening it. That's about as far as I can go with this debate. I think our gov. is capable of doing things behind our back, but I still refuse to believe they rigged the buildings with explosives. But still, just giving you a few observations!!!

Here are more facts about the collapse of the WTC towers (and just to let you know, I'm not saying you're wrong about what you believe, this is just an explanation about physics). Once the supports of the burning part of the buildings have lost strength, they begin to fall. The lower supports without the burning fire have managed to keep their strength, but now their combined weight has been transferred to the lower supports. Low character count so further explaining!!!

jst1998 explained it squarely! The stronger a burning fire is, the more it weakens the rest of a building's integrity. Once the supports of the upper half of the WTC towers (which WERE VERY HIGH) were weakened enough, the weight was transferred to the lower half of the buildings, causing those supports the burst and give way. Please, take notice the south tower collapsed sideways because the plane hit it sideways. Let me explain other characteristics later!!!

I'm only going to say this... the bulk of the good people in the US can't even contemplate what the gov can get up to; who they deal with internationally; while they fight over caring for you in hospital and no one wants to pay healthcare for others - the things they are doing with your money/tax dollars would blow your mind. This is pretty idiotic. If a plane in with that much force and that much jetfuel flies into the buidling it is more than enough to destroy and melt several floors of the building. When that happens, the full force of the floors above gets release. The building it not build to withstand that kind of pressure.

please explain wtc 7 building. It was levelled to the ground and fell at freefall speed. It WASN'T hit by a plane, and only had 2 or 3 ISOLATED fires inside. Watch the footage of it collapsing and tell me that was not a controlled demolition.

Again, if you really have an interest in telling the truth, start with pointing out that Bush killed hundreds of thousand of innocent people and that the media and a large portion of the american people sanctioned it. Conspiracy theorists are classically seen and interpreted as people who believe that the royal family are actually reptiles, that they wear tinfoil hats etc.
I would not class myself as a conspiracy theorist, rather than someone who likes to question things that do not make sense.
I'm not saying for definite that the american government killed 3000 of its own people, as I have not concrete proof. But there is enough evidence to support a conspiracy. But remember, evidence is not proof.

jst does make a good point that there is no argument that Bush did torture and murder thousands of innocent people and we should be angry about that. Although there is nothing wrong with being angry if (and i believe there was) a cover up and something dodgy about 9/11. Remember jst; WTC7 wasnt hit by a plane, and didnt have a jet fuel fire and suffered less damage than allot of buildings in that area and yet still went down in free-fall time.

Jesusplant is right. There was a load of gold in the basement of WTC that went "missing". Other than that though, to plant that many bombs in two different buildings of that size would have meant they would need to know when the bomb sniffing dogs were going to be taken out, as well as have complete access to every floor. That would have needed inside help and not something they could have done on their own.

True, although it also has alot to do with PNAC. The other thing to remember with that of course is the position with Iran. Look at the countries that surround Iran: Saudi Arabia and Pakistan (both major allies of the USA) and Iran and Afganistan. Should they want to they will be able to put a huge pressure on Iran. I to believed this plausible explanation of the cause of the WTC falling. Now, I know that this is not the cause. We are looking only for evidence of the WTC being rigged. Now, what about all the evidence that it was a plane? The little dust explosions were windows bursting due to pressure and heat. Now, why it fell, that building was built to sub stand multiple plane crashes.

It did, until the fire was softening the steel rig, now don't get ahead of me. It didn't melt the steel, because jet fuel is incapable of doing that, but it did infact bend it. Therefore the building collapsed under its own weight. All these little coincidences you see are like the movie, ''The Number 23'' You will find what you are looking for, you see all these coincidences because you want to, really they are just more evidence that the WTC collapsed and thats it.

from 0:01 to 0:03 they show a cut beam. This is supposed to suggest that the building was sabotaged beforehand. What is not shown is that this & other cuts took place long afterwards in order to remove the debris. But in this senationalist video it is silently & conveniently portraited as if this was cut to aid the collapse of the building. It too is idiotic since all those apparent explosions took place in the higher floors above. This whole conspiracy thing within the building is grotesque.
