Hey how long are the antennas on the receiver for this radio? I cannot stand the stupidly long stock 2.4ghz radio antenna on my new Flux HP. I want to get a new radio to control all my cars ( Flux, Slash, old Rc10T2 ). But the Receiver antenna needs to be a stubby like the traxxas one in my slash. Thanks. Great videos btw.

Well a while back I complained about you ripping on spektrum... It sucks I got the dx3c and it goes 200 feet with my 1 10 erevo brushless then it's out of range. They say it's not very compatible with my castle creations esc.

I agree with spektrum sucking balls. Nothing but problems i have seen/ experienced. Just ordered the 3pl, hope I don't regret not going with the 4pl!

@traxxas5308 It Is pretty widely known that spektrum radios suck.Both their air and ground TX not to mention DSM. For me it's Futaba on the ground Airtronics in the Air..Japanese Radios FTW

Almost all 2.4ghz radios that i know of have fail safes in them ;)

Also, my OLD spektrumum Dx3 (yes the first one) is still kicking, and has a fail safe in it too ;)

@MischadeBruijn the receiver also has to have a built in failsafe. Most 2.4 radios that are not expensive do not have fail safes built into them. Take the 2.44 traxxas radios. They do not have fail safes.

@cordless33 It is both a brand and a type of radio. I was referring to the brand in this video. There are many spectrum radios. The reason the "type" of radio is called spectrum is because they run on a 2.4 spectrum frequency.

hey i had a dx2s and i traded that for a m11 2.4ghz and is the trigger on your 4pl stiff. because i didnt like the 3pm that i had because of that

@kirksajerk I have the front end done and bolted on the chasis. The electronics box is in and done as well. Tonight I got the diff done, and started on the rear end. I don't want to be done, becasue I am having a lot of fun building it...lol.
