I am going to watch Big Country in Stuarts home town of Dunfermline on 7th Feb 2012,I have converted my son, its one of his favourite bands and the Crossing is I believe his top album, this is my tribute to the late and great SA - ps my son is also going!
@Suzywriter ..So true.........very sad......People dream/wonder what it would be like to "have it all".......The truth is, we all have issues, no matter whether you're a ditch digger or a rock star. RIP, Stuart.
@vatalic dont make fun of stuart it is the eighth deadliest sin(jk).
it adds further insult to injury. He was a great great person. Better person than musician, and that's saying something. He is not like those gay 80s stars, i HATE them, like Elton John.
@adduxe We're all very happy for ye pal, but the country in question isnae your country, it's oors (or at least it will be one day...). Congratulations on shooting some auld prick on dialisis though; very clever of yez ;)
The Crossing was the first LP I ever bought, and still my favorite 27 years later. The soundtrack to my life. Thanks for the music and memories Stu and the boys.
werent mad on em, my bruver had a ticket but was ill so i swiped it, to this day prob one of the best concerts iv EVER been to, memories to the grave, serious its buried in my mind
My favourite band. R.I.P Stuart. Lovely gesture with your son Calum.

Fields of Fire great album i was on holiday in dorset at the time bought it from our price went onto Egerton Hill and played it nice and loud.
All the tracks are excellent and it is still a fixture on both my cd and tape.
RIP Stuart Adamson one of the best.

@vatalic Not remotely funny - SA was a very gifted and equally troubled guy - You, you're just a Cunt.
