@dauntless15 To read it in context means to understand what the entire portion of scripture, not just one verse, is saying and to recognize that scripture cannot contradict scripture and that if it seems to it is our interpretation of scripture, and not the scripture itself that is in error. For God so loved the world that whosoever believeth in him will not perish but have everlasting life. Take this, and the next two verses together and I don't see how you can come up with anything other than that Jesus died for the sins of the world and that still, much of the world rejects him.

What is the need to urge people to repent if God will choose the ones that He will save and put it in their hearts to repent? I understand the doctrine of God's sovereignty but in His sovereignty He grants us free will that we may choose Him or we may choose the world. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all be saved.

2nd peter 3:9 is out of context as you qouted it .
peter is talking about the believers when he talks about ( not wanting any to perish , but for all to come to repentence . ) . since not all will come to repentece , it can only mean the believers .

Jesus already paid the full price for everyone's sins. There is no more price left to be paid. Jesus is the Lamb of God who TAKES AWAY the sin of the WORLD! Everyone wil be saved! Our God will be 100% victorious over all si, evil, and Satan! No one will be lost forever! NO ONE!

Jesus NEVER spoke about HELL - not one single time! He spoke about GEHENNA! Gehenna was a garbage dump where they threw the bodies of those who had been stoned, hanged, crucified etc. Jesus was warning of the death penalty and a nasty burial place where their worm does not die and the fire is not put out. People were often stoned back in those days for various offenses. ALL of the Gehenna warnings are earthly warnings, not about any eternal torment in the afterlife.

That does not refer to the unbeliever but to the flesh and to the spirit. So I encourage you to find a way to refute John 3:18 without twisting it. I would love for what you say to be true. But if you throw out any of the scripture you throw out all of it.

For God so loved the world that whosoever believeth in him will not perish but have everlasting life. Take this, and the next two verses together and I don't see how you can come up with anything other than that Jesus died for the sins of the world and that still, much of the world rejects him.

What is the need to urge people to repent if God will choose the ones that He will save and put it in their hearts to repent? Without Christ, one is a dead man/woman with God's wrath awaiting them (John 3:36). I'm not adding anything. You're ignoring it. You're taking God's love and mercy out of context. YES that is part of it- ignoring the other side of God, the side that absolutely hates sin (AND THE SINNER COMMITING IT -Psalms 5:5) is denying who God is, and you worship your own VERSION of God. Everyone WILL BE born again! That is something God does! Jesus said "You MUST BE born again." The verb in the Greek is in the passive voice! That is something that GOD DOES - it is not something we do! 1 Cor 15:42-44 says that everyone will be raised incorruptible! There will be no more sin in the resurrection! EVERYONE will be sin free!

1 John 2:2 - He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
Romans 5:18 says - "So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there RESULTED justification of life to all men."

The context is LIFE or DEATH. John 3:36 is describing 'life' vs. the wrath of God. This is not symbolism!! The damnation described in Rev 20:14-15 is called the 'second death'. Is this just everyday life symbolism too?! How about Heb. 10:26-31?! 2 Peter 2:14-22? So because 'hell' isn't the term used, does that mean the Trinity doesn't exist either? 'Hell' is the term for the eternal, furious wrath of Almighty God which is completely scriptural no matter what it's called.

Those who do study the things you speak of don't side with your faulty 'literal' translation. They side with the translations that have been translated using the correct grammatical linguistics. You however are a part of a false teaching, that has their own little book, and twists scripture like nobody else can... sounds like a cult to me.

Luke makes this scripture plainer: (Luke 12:5). God not only has the power to take our present physical life, but also has the power to resurrect us and—if we have proved disobedient and incorrigible—to cast us into the Lake of Fire from which there will be no future resurrection (Revelation20:14-15;21:8)!

The Bible clearly says: Jesus Christ is the Savior of the WORLD!
1 Tim 4:10 - "God who is the Savior of ALL MEN, especially those who believe"!!!! Not "ONLY" those who believe!!!!
1 John 2:2 confirms - He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
Romans 5:18 says - "So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there RESULTED justification of life to all men."

2 Corinthians 5:19 - "God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them."

John 1:29 - "Behold the Lamb of God who TAKES AWAY the sin iof the world"!
The sin issue, including the sin of rejecting Christ, was TAKEN AWAY at the cross!

Jesus NEVER spoke about HELL - not one single time! He spoke about GEHENNA! Gehenna was a garbage dump where they threw the bodies of those who had been stoned, hanged, crucified etc. Jesus was warning of the death penalty and a nasty burial place where their worm does not die and the fire is not put out. People were often stoned back in those days for various offenses. ALL of the Gehenna warnings are earthly warnings, not about any eternal torment in the afterlife.

Why is it that most of His disciples were killed horribly? They died on crosses, James was thrown off a cliff and then his head was smashed in.

The context is about repenting from sin. Jesus is telling people, that they are sinful and must turn from it or they are in danger of Hell.
So, let me understand perfectly... Your interpretation is that Jesus was warning people that they should cut off their hand, because the religious leaders might throw them into garbage?

Jesus was basically, just some guy walking around warning people not to mess with the Police (pharisees) or break their law (Torah code), because then you'd be killed.
I have a higher truer version of Jesus than that. Jesus wasn't telling people to stop stealing because the religious people might kill them, He told people to stop sinning because God would destroy them in Hell. (Matt 10:28)

You claim that Jesus warned us not to sin, because it would lead to us dying physically in Gehenna (some trash dump, at least thats your interpretation). Yet, in Matthew 10:28 Jesus clearly says 'Don't fear those who can destroy the body and not the soul'...

The destruction of the body and the soul(the person - what they stood for - their memory and reputation) would be destroyed if they sufered a criminal's death at the hands of the Jewish Sanhedrin court system. PLEASE, out of respect, quit surfing Youtube spreading another Christ. Because nobody needs to be saved from the wrath to come in your doctrine. You may be in danger of judgment, but don't endanger the weaker Christians as well! I'm talking to you not to be boastful in myself but in the fear of the LORD....
