  • Where did you get the body lift?

  • What's the best size rims with 33's?

  • @lVlurdered

depends on what look you want. mine are 15x 8.5 tires are 33x12.5

  • do you have a 4.0 or a 3.0

  • XxReginKillerxX

should be all you need, i would just have the torsion bars level cause some guys i know were having problems with tire rubb at full steering wheel lock (a.k.a. turn)

you could have it done wheen you get knew tires put on. i had raben tire allign and tighten mine.

  • @billet03 does your hitch still function like it did and how much did the lift and tires make your gas mileage go down

  • @SuperRanger4x4

yeah this vid was before i put the hitch in. the hitch is a good idea if you want a winch but dont want to build or buy a steel bumper, i just put a clevis pin for looped straps. the gas mileage changed some a mile or two. i could drive 20 miles a day to work and home for a week and only use a half tank.

  • @billet03 how well do your 33s work, any rub or clearance issues?

  • @SuperRanger4x4

some slight rubbing at full lock ( aka steering wheel fully turned ) other than that none

  • @billet03 thanks man

  • @billet03 thanks for the help man but i got 1 more question. were did u get ur dual exhaust

  • @TheGhostzTV

i had it done by an exaust shop here in my home town, all i know is that its a flo-pro, i just mr. wilcox i wanted a good deep sound that wasnt too import tunner sounding, he didnt let me down.

  • @billet03 were did you buy your lift kit and torsian bar leveling kit from and how much did they cost

  • @TheGhostzTV

i got my body lift kit off ebay motors, and i wouldnt buy the torsion key kits. alls it takes to level them is a wrench to turn the bolts and a flat smooth parking spot to make sure both sides are the same, i wanna say its 1 and a half turns on each side, not a 100% though. just turning the bolts does the same thing as buying the keys.

  • hey i wanna get a 3iin lift like your but dont know whether i should get a suspention lift or body? any suggestions?

  • @XxReginKillerxX

well the body lift is cheaper, the suspension lift is around 1500-1800 depends on if you get the recomended front drive shaft which has a cv joint to allow a greater angle, the body lift just lets you rungger tire the suspension kit gives you a little better ground clearance while being able to run a bigger tire, keepinmind that the torsion bars will still drag on some taller obstacles, for around the same money you can SAS it and sit even higher than 4"

  • @billet03 Thanks man, im just trying to run bigger tires i dont do much off roading just need bigger tires cause we get bad winters, so if i get a 3in body lift that will be okay? or will i need a leveling kit also? cause iv been looking them up and theres so many options for lifts idk how to even look

  • is a 3 in body lift all you got on it

  • @TheGhostzTV

yep and the 33's make it sit close to 5 inches taller plus i leveld it via torsian bar crank.

  • how much does it cost for a 3 in lift?

  • wered you get it installed

  • @justinchaffin1013

I done it myself, its pretty straight forward the kit comes with directions

  • @billet03 oh im not good with these kinda things do you know were you could i might get like a 6 or a 10in lift

  • @justinchaffin1013

i know you could get seveninches of lift, 3 via body lift, 4 via suspension lift, anything higher will have to be custome built

  • Where did you get your lift kit and rims?

  • @mtaylor017

i got my lift kit off ebay, it was a summit racing bodylift kit,

i got my wheels and tires at Raben tire

  • ok how hard would a 2 inch body lift be and what would i have to do?????

  • @fordprid101 you would probably have to make it your self. and if you did that i would still recomend you ad and extension to the steering column and your radiator would need relocation brackets. i would just buy the three inch kit it comes with all you need, extensions relocation brackets etc... the other things i would recomend is a good impact air or electric. also need a T55 torx head socket. AND a propane torch. baught mine off ebay for 150 bucks

  • @billet03 well i wanted a 6 inch lift i was ganna go 4 inch suspension and 2 inch body but i think i might just get a 6 inch lift. thanks though

  • @fordpride101

yep. good luck with your truck!

  • not bad, looks good

  • getsumm1744

the sus. Lifts do if u dont get the aftermarket front driveshaft the angle is too great for the stock driveshaft and will wear out quicker. the aftermarket driveshaft has a cv joint that allows for a greater angle. But its near 600 bucks for it alone... I wanted to just sas the front end. But i ende up selling the truck. The SAS would end up being around the same price as the sus. Kit. But its more durable...

  • @billet03 thanks i appreciate it.

  • is that all it is, is the body lift? i wanna get one for mine but cant decide if i wanna to just body or body plus 3" suspension. but i hear the suspension lifts eat up front ends quickly..

  • what brand of lift is it? i have a 97 and want to do a 3" inch body lift and some offroaders, thanks for puttin it up

  • @socalredneck666

summit racing body lift. i got it off ebay for like 150 buck kit has everything in it you need. i used some very smooth conveyor belt cut to look stock.

  • @socalredneck666

summit racing body lift. i got it off ebay for like 150 buck kit has everything in it you need. i used some very smooth conveyor belt cut to look stock. to cover the body gaps

  • @ramirocantu42

on the 16's if your still stock hight i wouldnt go no higher than 31's they still might rub a bit. but if you have your t-bars just leveld they'll clear. my wheels are dc1's black you are correct bro. keep up the hard work and it will be mime didnt look like that over night.

  • great lookin truck man. i like body lift better than suspension... do you have any sus. lift, or is it just the 2 body to clear the tires?

either way, it looks great man. also, did the body lift effect the towing at all? i dont know if it even changes anything with the hitch, it appears to be in the same place...

also, did you install yourself? if so, how hard was it?

whoever installed it did a KILLER job! no ugly gaps or anything. sweet job. sweet truck. keep it up man.

  • did you paint your front bumber black? looks good if you did. ive got an 03 all blcak thought about paintin the bumber plastic? ive got same dick cepek rims but painted the center caps on mine black. let me know... 5star ranger man nice

  • @SPB223

  • @yamaha4Llfe

, and thanks for the comment

  • how big r the rimes tires and the lift

  • @bowtech1995

tires are 33"x12.5", lift 3" body lift from summit racing

  • whats the compant that made the lift you have

  • @EDog1o1

I bought it off summit racing. i think they had some other company make them not sure tho.

  • @EDog1o1

    summit racing

  • i notice theres no noticable gap with the bumper to body, how did you fix that issue thats cuased by body lifts?

  • @SaGalv

the new kits come with the bumper lift brackets

  • @billet03 yes, shortly after posting this i took a look at some body lifts, and saw the brackets. They are reasonably cheap. though, what did you end up doing with the radiator fan and the fuel transfer pipe to the gas tank? I know both pose a problem on some vehicles with a body lift. Not sure about rangers though, my friend had an old lifted ranger, and to solve the fan issue they put a smaller fan in, which made the truck very loud from the high rpm fan lol whici i dont want to do.

  • Sick Ranger man! Look'n to do the same to mine. Where you get the 33's?

  • @xJx3g3xHx

i got 'em at Raben tire.

  • lift kits for the torsion bar setups that the newer rangers have ar expensive as hell!!

  • @gotaridehonda

oh tell me about it 1,600 for the kit plus i have to buy the after market front drive shaft which is another 600. so it will be a while lol

  • 3 inch suspension lift next and ull be looking just like mine lol

  • @sitton440

I would like to buy a 4" super lift suspension kit just taks time to get the money.

  • awesome.I have a 03 4x4 flareside and its all stock :(
