  • sean, that things got another 2500rpm in it at least mate, is it a 3:55 final drive? sounds manual, t-5? not sure of the us ford specs. oh yeah and for cheap secondaries look into cold start constant spray injectors and hook em up to a rpm switch and e.f.i.e to trick the management system. was always an easy way to cure fuel starvation at higher rpm.

  • As it was, that's all the usable rpm it had. It sounds healthy because it had essentially no muffler at the time, but really it was running stock heads, stock cam, stock intake, so 4800-5000 was all it had.

    Fuel starvation was not an issue on this run, but with upgraded heads and cam, I had to change injectors and replace my fuel pump. If more is needed in the future, will go another step up in injector sizing.

    T-5, unknown rearend gears (probably 3.55)
