  • Let me tell you why the plucking. I notice the cage is in a small room of its own. You bird needs your VISUAL interaction, MORE OFTEN. Bird loves you but hearing you from another room where cannot SEE you make stir crazy. I promise. Bring your cage out where you live and let your bird LIVE as the family member he is. Plucking WILL stop most instantly. Swear to god...

  • when i do this its bite me what sould i do to avoid her when she bite shes not a bite

i mean she love me the grey

  • thats not weird

  • 0:11 is something i call "chicken bird", where the bird is held b one hand on its back. Birds normally wouldnt be caught dead in thet position, because it leaves them vulnerable. It takes great trust in the bird and the owner to do something like that without a problem.

  • It is not all about kissing and buu buuing the bird, the Grey feels who is there for him or her and based on that opinion he or she constructs his ego.

  • It's sweet the way he snuggles you. Is he a plucker? He has a nice large cage too!

  • Einstein is a plucker. We've done everything, but she's getting better. The best thing is foraging toys to keep her busy.

  • what a baby.. I like it ;)

  • Awsome

How much are African Grey Parrots??

    Thank you

  • if u get a baby one it's about $1200. its much better to get a younger one cuz then u can train it more and it won't bite u!! :)

  • if u get a baby then it's about $1000-$1300. its much better to get it when its still young because then u can teach it more and it won't bite u!! :)

  • I like to think of them as priceless. Be sure to do all your homework about the care of these delicate animals. They need TIME, fresh food, showers, love (but not too much), intellectual stimulation, etc. etc. They are like having a child, but they don't grow up and go to college or move out. They're yours forever and many get tossed from home to home and these emotional creatures can't handle it. If you have the time, adoption could be wonderful!
