Two player, this was right up there with Streetfighter II. Single player, ludicrously difficult.

Sega should have put this on their Ultimate Megadrive Collection (I'm British, I think in America its called 'Sonics Ultimate Collection' or something)

This isn't the asshole-a-thon like Mortal Kombat where every character plays the same and even blind monkey can win first three matches. You have to learn how to play with your character of choice first, that's why the game has a huge variety of training modes. You expected button masher like Tekken - you got your ass kicked - you suck.

@Nelly47yo Thanks, I know how to pull out combos and special moves. But: Mortal Kombat didn't have combos until 3rd game (and peaked at second), and besides special moves and combos every fighter is the same. And count the amount of palette-swaps.

Not every fighter the same, every fighter has a special motion uppercur, roundhouse and sweep.

And look at your game it's slow and glitchy like Street Fighter.

But because it suck SEGA discountinued it, unlike MK when John Tobias lift Midway no one said it gonna suck or stop, it countinued like it was on 90's.

@Nelly47yo VF is mindless button masher when you can win every fight by just repeating same combo again and again. The same with Mortal Kombat by the way. In SF2 you can spam hadoukens. SEGA canceled EC in favor of VF because EC was developed by SEGA of America and VF was developed by Japanese division.

Yeah, EC:CFTDS was on one system. And I compared EC:CFTDS to Genesis versions of SF 2 - Champions Edition and SSF2. EC:CFTDS outsold them both. Wanna proof - go to Sega-16.com.

First two VF games just plain SUCK. It's nothing but button mashing. No technique, no different character behavior. Do three combos - KO. Every fight is the same.

EC is different. Every combatant acts different and plays different.

You know, I'm Russian and I fucking like the game. And I've got friends who like it too. And there's Hyde201, who remixed music from EC and he's from Sweden.

VF's problem is the combos or else it's a legend.

In E.C, it's like and MK and like SF high kick and low ones... etc.

Raven is a E.C 2 character and it's uses TaeKwon Do moves and i think she is egyptian.

I could only ever past this game with the ClubMan, that is, the Caveman.

I got raped with every other character.

But for some reason, the Caveman's simple jump and club attack in the air killed everybody....

that last dude is hard, I had to kill him like 5 times, one as him, and four as the glass creatures and shyt!!!

Caveman was my favorite, cause he can throw someone up in the air and BATTERS UP!!!

as a runner up, i also liked the cyborg guy...lol
