It's crazy...every1 today is just in a state of perpetual sameness! i.e cheating...baby momma..baby daddy...teen pregnancy...and then the people that are in relationships...cheat..lie..et­c. I'm not saying im an angel nor am I looking down on anyone..its just ridiculous in todays society when it comes to looking for people to settle down with.

You're so right. Instead of wanting to change and do something better/different so many of us just "settle" for the lowering of our own standards and lack of integrity. It is making it very hard to settle down. Thanks for commenting!

People are just so confused about what they want today, we put all these requirements to the people we love. I'm just not going to look for a man and just let what happen happen. I feel like i need closeness with a man but sometimes we are mistaken in what we want and what is right for us, i'll give it 10 years i'm 18 now, i think i have time and i'm going to take that time and get it together.

I agree with you here spokenlife. The reason I believe divorces and broken families have increased over the past few decades is becuase of the media influence. Relationships take hard work, and the same goes for family and long term hapiness. Wise words.
