A game that is about 20 years old still faster than any racer today with no frame rate skip .... Only Amiga can do it.... I played this day and night... Even better with 2 players.... Fuckin awesome, we need Lotus 4.. but not polygon graphics shit just pixel art would be sweet as.... Have the same people do the music...

Because that would be the Part of the second player. No idea WHY they made it that way, but you get the screen if you had to make a refuel stop.

It arrived about 6 months later, and was an A4 sheet with some crap written about completing the game. it was the coolest thing i owned at 10/11 yrs old!

Ive found there was only ever one way to win in wales -- that is become welsh !! you have to eat welsh raebit before the race with a leek in one pocket and piece of coal in the other, youre good to go. For music you have to have an all male choir banging out at full volume, when passing other drivers you shout "In the valleys In the valleys"and sat there with your miners helmet on you cant lose. After you celebrate with a traditional ale, a pint of phelgmlovely. Easy peasy. Jobs a good 'un

@alphabetaxenonzzzcat As Far as I am concerned it is impossible to win in Wales. The best i did was 3rd, without hitting anything i think. The best of the lotus series, loved racing for position, loved the ingame music. I rate the lotus games in the order they were released. Ther best driving game on Amiga. Jag XJ220 was terrible in my opinion. Loved Crazy Cars 3 though!

@Amiga1200Mark I utterly fluked 2nd place on Wales in my high score submission to Twin Galaxies, the highest I'd ever done on that track. I managed to win every other race, thus scored 295 out of a possible 300. I doubt a win on Wales is even possible.

A great game. You're right the computer controlled cars never crashing and being allowed to go through barriers and stuff was annoying. On Hard setting this game is mad! Especially the last race on snow!

Shaun Southern was a.k.a SOUT of c64 'kickstart' fame. I remember completing both first race ITALY and KENYA going straight up to 160mph and finishing without losing speed. Fastest you gould do ITALY was 1 minute 41 seconds :-) I believe...

back in 92 when i was born i had the commodores amiga, actually i had 2. And this just bring back all the good memories. I tries to fix the amiga when it stopped working but unfortunately i couldn't. When i fixed it my dad already had thrown away the games ALL THE LOTUS SERIES.

AHh didnt look at video. Had problems with audio on a couple tracks. The SFX arent meant to sound so...umm like they're under water.
