  • Beautiful. It looks to be reminiscent of Wu Taiji and Sun Style Taiji mixed with a tiny bit of Bagua Chuan and Yang Taiji. Beautiful however. Master is very subtle and controlled and makes graceful motions. Bravo!!

  • I have been stydying and applying the teachings of Chen Tuan and Li Dongfong Liuhebafa through scholarship research (Video like this and Articles) and Paul Dillon's work called, Liuhebafa Five Character Secret. My Kung Fu study of Neijia Classics also include Feng, Wang, Li, Chen, Wu and Yang. The last is Wu Mengxia's annotations on 9 Songs & 81 Postures. i have applied all of this and more to cultivate my Wu Style Forms and T'ui & San Shou work. My vid will show what i've learned. Respect!!

  • he's so cute! *_* i saw this fighting style in mortal kombat, so i just looked it up. do you know the name of the some by any chance. its lovely.

  • It's very interesting way of movement.

  • Missing my time in Shanghai! It looks like you know those people that I met;-) Aren't they wonderful!

    Thanks for posting!

  • Excellent...Very Inspiring.

I was shot 7 times in a convenience store robbery 7 years ago and have been studying TaiJi as my rehab ever since. But after 7 years of devoted study I am beginning to see the inner and not just the outer, and, I am seeking the masters for that next level I feel blossoming.

I am so glad to see true masters on the net like this. Only a few decades ago we would all have to travel abroad to see such things. Thank you Master Yun...

    Peace (with Shaolin Salute),

    Swiss

  • Peace on you as well and congratulations. I will share your letter with Master Yun...

  • Really beautful. Even though this style is new to me. I do Xin Yi Liu He Quan myself.

  • Brilliant display...so graceful and fluid. Thanks for posting.

  • sry for my mistake the vids a little distorted on large screen and your hair is so short?

    nice and coool !

I still wouldnt mess you around!

    ;]

  • Nothing more than that. Knowing who you are is what this is all about. Enjoy!

PS: Just to be clear -- I am a woman, not a man. : )

  • hello again!

    still brilliant!

    ;]

  • Yeah.

Re your last comment, you hit the time distortion space! Sweet, huh? Nothing better than when the moves happen all by themselves. Congrats...El

  • Masterful, simply flowing beauty and refined grace.

  • my dear lezer one thing to consider is

that this is a 9th century art an in view

of how long its been hidden away one should realise the absolute honor it is to be able to view this in this way. Alot of what is happening is also inside his body an so

not visible tho the camara does view indiscriminately? excuse lousy english.

    mrlongded steam

  • Yes. Your English is quite good and thank you. I've watched this video many times and studied with Master Yun in person. I feel greatly honored to have done so. This is an extremely beautiful form and so much of it is internal as you say. You have to 'slow' yourself down to feel it, but if you do, you can. Relaxation is a highly under-rated skill.

  • funny you say slow down but something realy strange happened after a 5 day workshop, once i,d got home and caught up on some modern world influences and felt time to have a streatch over at the park near my house during practice at least my conscience was on fast forward, cant tell you if i imagined it or it happened but things seemed much faster? only happened once and i suppose it caught me out? but the moves didnt want to stop ? lol all good fun! ;]

  • Well, I surely believe that he is practicing in a very slow way. It is a great performance. Taking a closer look at the water or at the movement of the persons walking around indicates that this video is not at normal speed. Maybe there are only some frames missing due to converting the video? It is only very little, but I think my eyes do not bluff me :). However, I am impressed.

  • Actually, it hasn't been slowed down. Master Yun practices at this speed. I studied with him this summer in San Francisco and found LHBF to be a very powerful method for moving chi.

  • Beautiful video but why has it been slowed down? I really would appreciate if you could upload the original. I am quite sure that it also looks fantastic :)

  • ps have you seen all of his part 2 ? thats got faster parts lol ;]

  • oh ... really? ok i will watch it then ;)
