Ok so wait for a while until January 15 that is when the blade 450 comes out i would suggest holding off until then and the most common mistake is moving the cyclic too much and the helicopter gets out of control.
@niplapla JANUARY!!! The site says late April! I can't wait to January 15! Thats when I'm getting mine! After I upgrade to a DX8 of course. I will have no money when I am through with this spending. :)
Damage wasn't too bad, head damage, all 4 blades (tail and main) and bent the tail tube some. Probably $40-50 in damage. i just wish I had used training skids on it for my first real flight.
happend to me a few weeks ago and i still have night mares lol , i was fooling with the idle up and things and changing settings and dual rates so when i flicked back down to norma it hopped up about 6ft and landed after hitting a pole, still not too much damage, so lucky, the hei you have dont look to badly hurt, head repairs suck because of all the parts lol, just remember where they all go haha
SLAM!!! my first day flying my blade 400 was today and i smashed it so hard all i have left is a hole in the ground and burned grass... well wasn't that bad but it will be around 50 bucks to get all the parts to get it going again!
All part of the learning process, I crashed mine once hard, lol, gives you a chance to rebuild it and learn how it works. :) It flys better after the rebuild, go figure?
