I have to agree. Trailers have improved over time, but this has to be one of THE classic spy stories. It entertains, but not as passively as modern shows. You have to think, too. Yes, there are some cliches they could probably have skipped, but it avoids the totally implausible and the absurd, which both television and the movies repeatedly fall into the trap of.

Hi Monceau, That was part of the charm. It was an antidote to the (relatively new) Bond Series and various copycat spies. You are right, but he had some front did our Michael. Sue ended up in Crossroads poor girl!!!
