  • 22:00... The difference is he's allowed into an atheist meeting. At his meetings atheists get killed.

    Fuck him.

  • As a former Muslim, oh my god this religion should just die in a fire. Islam is such a naturally oppressive religion. Try telling your Muslim parents your an atheist... While I do support freedom of religion I don't think we should be pandering to Muslims, or persecuting them. We should see it like every other religion, a fairy tale for adults. It shouldn't be taken seriously, or protected by the government.

  • This women is presenting no evidence.

  • aaaasdsfdgfddg

  • Great video, full of common sense this is what the world should be hearing peace and tolerance, like seeing all as JUST human works for me

  • Key question was how to deal with moderates to bring about change- whether to bring up our own absolute rejection of religion to start out with. I feel that one is still a toughie. Scaring them away/ hardening their religious stances is a real threat with that strategy. Maybe we should start with secularizing society, but also condemning religion on a grassroots/ non-state level. Secular societies lead to weaker religion which paves the way towards atheism/ abandonment of religion.

  • @MidnightAngel92 You may find it helpful to listen to some of the videos by securefreedom. Try: watch?v=NEdUw7QU6IE They reckon that strategically we need to focus on Sharia because it is the imposition of Sharia that is distinctly POLITICAL. Furthermore Sharia is COMPLETELY at odds with and counter to the legal frameworks of any and every free society and civilisation.

  • BEWARE OF THE WHITE MAN, HE IS SOOOO DANGEROUS - RUN PEOPLE!!!

  • @quezcatol What? O.o

  • Hey Hey, that's not Islam! Islam starts with the Quran, the practice of the Holy Prophet of Islam, not with what you see around the world, a debate which she lost at University College London. I wish I was there.

  • @Peaceworld111 Keep fooling urself with that mate... truth remains obvious...

  • Is she saudi?

  • @abdurrahman0487 She's Iranian

  • Fantastic role model! Favorite thing she said: Respect the person, no the idea.

  • this is the kind of woman i would respect and give a bow..

  • an indeed insightfull speech it helped to remove a good deal of fog from my mind

  • I was Christian, I converted to Islam, over time I woke up from the blinders of religion, I'm now Atheist.

  • @Anunnaki12P - Come and join in our discussions as councilofexmuslims forum. They are a good bunch of people and it's a great place to chat :)

  • @Anunnaki12P cool story bro

  • @Anunnaki12P YEAAAA MAN ! welcome to the family bud. I was a muslim my self. Im just so happy I became an athiest at 18 or else who knows what woulda happend lol

  • Maryam Namazie is a great person have on the secularist side. Got to meet her at the secular europe march in London on the 17.9.11 and she's very passionate about stopping religious dogma and is a very inspirational character.

  • Blah blah blah more lies from Islamaphobes, more anti-islamics spouting uninformed garbage about Islam.

Islam is the truth, no matter how much these kuffar dislike it. Islam continues to thrive.

  • @Spined1234

Islam, as any other religion, sucks goatballs

  • @Spined1234 Islamaphobia is a made up word, it doesn't exist. This woman was a muslim and now exposes islam for what it really is. That upsets you deeply, shown by your retoric hate spew. There is absolutely no proof of islams growth. That is initself, muslim propoganda, Non muslims are waking up, countries are banning islamism, bhurkas, and italy don't even recognise islam as a religion.

  • @Spined1234 saying"islam is the truth",you are based on what???at what lenghts are you proned to go to defend your affirmation?will you kill for your idea, will you torture and threat and insult for it?this is not good ,bro, not human at all.and sure it is,before being an islamist, you have to be a man, don't you think??peace!

  • @Spined1234

You build a huge mountain of EGO though your religion Islam. When ever any one condemns islam, you take it personally, you first deny the criticism and then when there is no way to deny criticism, you play victim, by blaming critics as islmophobes. Its you, who have low self esteem and cannot take a simple criticism. Grow up, its the time.

  • @Spined1234 Yeah it continues to thrive up ur ass, get a life punk!

  • what a shit is that ?)(!)( Everywhere in the world religions and mentalities like you to spend a mess. Then you, was made the crimes religions. Then, you was made the crimes religions.Do not have any proof.Do you always doomed to lose!!!

  • Maryam Namazie is a good example of the hordes of Iranians who are leaving Islam. Well done guys!

  • What is it about atheïst that is soo wrong? I really don't understand why especially muslims have such a problem with atheïsm. I accept your religion, and live with it, so why can't you accept me for who I am. I pretending to believe in God better that just being honest and saying you can't and don't. I've had people telling me I just don't want to... but I've tried, really tried, still... I don't see the point. So my question is... is it better to be a hypocrite than an atheïst?

  • @ezcape08 they are not paying her much, she's a cheap whore anyways...

  • @bmwMoMmo yeah we get it you muslims don't respect women...and she clearly explained that islam is a death cult as well...

  • @ezcape08 - Who are "They"? No-one is paying Maryam. The Council of Ex-Muslims has been denied charity status unlike many Islamic organisations. So who is paying you? We struggle to survive financially and we are denied media coverage. That's the fact. I know you are paranoid and think the Jews, Zionists, Freemasons etc.. are all conspiring against you. But the truth is that this is just your delusion. Wake up and open your eyes.

  • @CEMBadmins No that's not a delusion, and athiest are so blind to see and take a good look around them.

  • @CEMBadmins thank you my friend for telling that fool whats good. I was a muslim and im now athiest. Best desision of my life. I want to share it with the world. Science and fact over fictional stories any day. And btw i get this all the time. Ideot muslims are sooo defensive. thay always think people r out to get them because they actually belive people hate them beacuse there god people, not because they kill and murder and dont give women right... LOL

  • @ezcape08 Are you realy that stupid or are you just another pig fucking muslim?

  • @ezcape08 Is it so hard for you to believe that someone has a strong view against yours? You've really got to stop being so superficial.

  • maryam is an outstanding, courageous woman.

  • AWESOME...WE NEED MORE ATHIEST AND ISLAM/CATHOLISISM/CHRISTIANITY ETC NEED TO BE RECOGNIZED FOR WHAT THEY ARE.....A MONEY MAKING FRANCHISE

  • @enregistrez123 islam isn't a money making franchise per se but it is a power hungry mad religion which wants to impose its way of life on every individual.

  • That's funny to me, the idea that a mullah can't get a ride to work (work as if telling people what to do with their private lives and talking to their imaginary friend is work). I say let the fuckers walk all the time.

  • That islamist pissed me off. The fruits of the sharia? You rescued Europe? Kiss my ass. The islamic world may have preserved the writings of the greeks, but they did everything they could to isolate europe from the rest of the world. Finally, enlightenment figures like Thomas Paine have nothing, absolutely nothing to do with Sharia. He is diametrically opposed to any type of religious fascism.

  • @setandlet and let me guess, you are one of the "Normal" ones right

  • @shandcunt

    Now now...

Did I say any such thing?

  • @setandlet I assume your reffering to atheists when you mention "extremists"?

"however he instituted red herring after redhering (as most extremists do) and went off at a tangent, trying to pull me in a debate..."

This is actually the biggest complaint athiests have with theists, Im not saying your wrong or right but it seems the way your engaging people makes them not want to take u seriously. you seem to be more into complaining about atheists than talking about anything.

  • @shandcunt

"This is actually the biggest complaint athiests have with theists"

Actually, this is the complaint normals have against extremists...Muslim,Atheist,Christian or otherwise.

I'm engaging just fine and the problem lies with people who make statements with great surety but try to divert attention when questioned about them.I wasn't here to complain or debate as I said before...and if every one is evading the topic in hand can't complaints be expected?

  • @setandlet I guess you dont

  • I love the way she gave hamza and that supposed historian a reality check. The truth is no one is going to walk away from an atheism conference looking over their shoulder but countless people who are running foul of the islamists are looking over their shoulders and not in Tehran but in bethnal green.

  • thank you very much for posting this! She mentioned one of my frustrations... that if you come from a islamic country, it does not mean you are muslim!

  • @setandlet "This matter is now ended and my request still unanswered."

    What was your request?

  • Comment removed

  • @shandcunt

The original request was for MrAtheist1984 to explain each and every one of the points he stated with great surety...however he instituted red herring after redhering (as most extremists do) and went off at a tangent, trying to pull me in a debate...

We must learn to read the other persons comments before messaging...

I think I requested that same thing FIVE times...

  • I like her

Fuck the quran, bible, torah and any other religious comicbook BTW

  • How many people leave Islam? Does anyone know? Also Maryam some religions are MAINLY false and not that bad.

  • In my opinion Geert Wilders isn't far right at all. Wilders clearly said that people like Maryam, people that come to Europe because they want to enjoy our FREEDOM, are welcome.

There are very few points I wouldn't agree with Wilders. He is for human rights and he even fought for a political asylum seeker to stay in NL. Just listen to him once clearly, he is almost a LEFT wing, it's the mainstream media she actually picks her perceptions from.

  • Unfortunately, with this speech, she has become less serious for me.

All religions are the same, really?

She should only name me ONE other religion today that has killing of apostates as a dogma in its books.

Do you really want to compare buddhism to islam, this is plainly ridiculous.

Nevertheless, all the best for her, there is a reason why ex-muslims usually have a more dangerous life than ex-christians or ex-buddhists (lol)

    Greetings from an atheists

  • And don't forget: Many people would call Maryam Namazie "right wing" admidst all proofs to the opposite

  • This woman is a crystalline drop of the vast sea of intelligence, compassion and bravery that fundamentalist Muslim societies deny themselves with the ignorant oppression of half their population. They should fear her words more than any gun or bomb, and apparently they do.

  • tank you for this.

  • Just because Islamic society *used* to be progressive: ie: in preserving Greek philosophy and having a more liberal attitude to other reasons DOES NOT MEAN that it is progressive at all in the present day. Something that was progressive, say, 1000 years ago, can very easily be highly regressive in the present day.

  • Surely Islamophobia does exist and I'll tell you why: For every person who has a rational, informed opinion of Islam and is therefore worried about it, there is another person who knows fuck all about Islam and believes in irrational conspiracy theories concerning Muslim immigrants and "stealth jihads". I think it's a distinction well worth making.

  • Actually I am fighting the word limit here and I should have said that Islamic society was once very progressive but ISN'T any more. Islam itself was never progressive IMO.

  • @atheistHOMOSEXUAL "faggots *and* other people". So faggots *aren't* other people then? So you really are homosexual! You know you really ought to drop all this repression and just embrace your true self! You will feel much better for it I promise you.

  • Islam will dominate the World. Islam is right way. Atheism is for faggots and other people

  • Ms. Namazie should be standing. A person of her intellect and composure should never speak while sitting. That is why it is called "taking a stance" against oppressive, useless ideas. "Stand up, and be counted"! (Ian MacKaye)

  • yes, all us right-wingers use atheism to throw out muslims because we are in fact racist.

you caught us, amazing... left-wingers at their best again.

  • maryam is right islam is fascism and only as fascism can be treated and addressed.

50 years of submission of religion to the stiff laicite a secular state ,is all that is needed to liberate millions of muslims, from the claws of islamism and sharia law.

nationalize religion as in turkey or soviet union and on lesser extend in Tunisia, you end up neutralizing it .

a state suction reformation or you can wait a millennium for a replication of the 'spontaneous' reformation of the west.

  • @AmetReloads Actually Maryam did not say Islam is Fascism. She equates Islamism/political Islam, with fascism. I know some will argue that "True" Islam is the Islam of the Islamists, but this is another issue. There are good reasons for making the distinction between Islam & Islamism or Muslims and Islamists - or whatever terms one wants to use, not least of which is we don't want ignorant bigots to use this to justify abuse or violence towards the vast majority of ordinary Muslims.

  • @CEMBadmins

There is no reason to equate muslims with islam, period.

No more than identifying Britons or Germans as christianity.

Indeed the goal is to liberate muslims ,but until Islamic reformation can produce the equivalent of Agglicanism , i dont see any reason to brand or address any of the sects as moderate, when on most issues are on the right of western far right.

That is if they are going to be judged, by the same standards as BNP , and not by a cultural relativistic position.

  • @CEMBadmins The majority of ignorant bigots who justify abuse or violence toward the "vast majority of ordinary muslims" are the Islamist Fascists. I cant help but notice the leftist political finger pointing that goes on in most of these Atheist conferences. Anti-Americanism and pc socialist group think is also quite common. Mentioning GW Bush every chance one gets. Bashing Geert Wilders and throwing around the "far-right" label. She even mentioned US slavery and a hanged negro ffs.

  • You know what pisses me off to no END the fact that you say something about being anti Muslim and than well your a racist or you have racist going on your video saying horrid things like being Muslim = being brown. There are people from everywhere that are Atheist and everywhere that are fuctards race has NOTHING to do with it. That just is what pisses me off the most. If I had the money I'd go there to help save people from the religious crazies. It just huts knowing other people are suffering.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOO IT'S THE ALLIED ATHEIST ALLIANCE

  • Wow, never invite this chick to a party. She's a real downer.

  • @Balefulmoon I'm sure she drinks like every other western woman does, and I would invite her to a party if I had them. She's really pretty and smart. ^___^ And well granted the pretty thing is a bit superficial but I am at times, and having that attached to a smart brain makes her even better. ^__^

  • She got obviously raped by her father.

  • @Gh0stface89 That is illegal in Sweden, and people who those that will atleast get a month in jail!

  • @quezcatol isn't rape in most places illegal? I hope it's more than a month and well not liking rape if a rapist gets raped I really don't feel all that bad about it. XD lolz At least if the prison stories are true. XD Also if not I wouldn't go to those countries. >.> He just said that to be an ass though. ;)

  • Brilliant speech from a brilliant woman! Big thanks to CEMBadmins for this upload.

  • Ms.Maryam apparently confuses (deliberately or not) the anti-clergy movement in Iran for an anti-Islamic movement (her exact words). The clergy has no position in Islam. The Iranians may know that and are therefore rebelling against the oppressive regime run by the clergy.

  • "If God didn't exist there wouldn't be any atheists" G.K. Chesterton

  • @celal777

"if god did exist there wouldn't be any religion" kiwipukeko

  • Great speech Maryam

  • Muslims are like bonobos thats why they are the fastest growing religion.

  • @MrAtheist1984 It's NOT the fastest growing religion but the fastes DYING religion.

The penalty for leaving islam is death so MOST people keep it quite.

Muslims make a lot of noise when a man in prison converts, or when a woman converts for her husband.

They gain converts by lying to them.

Their converts are not the brightest people but the worst of society, or are very ignorant.

Anyone that actually reads and UNDERSTANDS islam leaves.

    It is that stupid.

  • Comment removed

  • @sirjambo

    Produce your proof

to each and every one of your claims, including the claim that the converts are the 'worst of society',if what you say be true.

Truly, would the thinkers of the 'Age of Enlightenment' (which the speaker seems to aim to revive) not provide sound basis using material evidence when making such statements?

  • @setandlet "The penalty for leaving islam is death" Here it is. "Whoever changed his (Islamic) religion, then kill him" Bukhari I said; They gain converts by lying to them. Do they tell them that the profit of islam married a child ONLY 6 years old and consummated the marriage when she was ONLY 9? Do they tell them that the profit BELIEVED in a Flat earth? Do they tell them that he SPLIT the moon? You cannot tell someone the truth of islam and have them convert. It's that simple.
  • @sirjambo Why not, people believe stupid shit all the time. In many cases, the stupider it is, the more strongly they will believe it.

  • @sirjambo

How can the prophet believe in a flat earth when the Quran says the Earth is spherical like an ostrich egg?An alleged prophetic tradition going against the Quran it is not accepted.

As for converts,of course they begin with the provable facts before going into the miracles. That is how it is done (also with me).It doesn't mean the converts are the 'worst of society'.You've avoided my question (not very tactfully). You've made FIVE other claims

produce your proof if what you say be true

  • @setandlet "the Quran says the Earth is spherical like an ostrich egg?"

The quran says no such thing. That ridiculous "translation" was by Rashid Kalifa in the 80's.

Sura 79:30 SPECIFICALLY states the earth has benen FLATTENED.

There are arabic words for egg and ostrich and they are MIRACULOUSLY not there.

"provable facts before going into the miracles."

Name just 1 fact that was unknown. I won't even ask for miracles since there are none.

"produce your proof if what you say be true"

    OK.

  • Let's start with the FLAT earth.

    ~~Sahih Al Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 421~~

The Prophet asked me at sunset, "Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know better." He said, "It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again,...

Would you say that is a classic example of a flat earth?

Every time the quran talks about the earth it describes a FLAT earth.

    Is that sufficient?

  • @sirjambo

[079:030]He made the earth egg-shaped (Rashid)

Dahaha is the key word here.

    "Dahaha" means spread/expanded,not flat!

Arabic word "Dahaha" is derived from "Dahhyah" which means "Ostrich Egg"

As for facts,There were some WIERD beliefs floating around that made sense to people.Pick up the bible and see.isn't it too much of a coincidence that Muhammad was able to pick out those making scientific sense?

    'OK'?

You made six claims in your first post and you don't just get away without proof.

  • @setandlet "Arabic word "Dahaha" is derived from "Dahhyah" which means "Ostrich Egg""

NO that's not even close, and is an outright LIE!

The word for egg is "Baidah". Can you see that word in 79:30?

    Let's see what the tafsirs say about that sura FROM muslims themselves;

    Tafsir al-Jalalayn

    and after that He spread out the earth: He made it flat, for it had been created before the heaven, but without having been spread out;

And the word for Ostrich Egg is BAIDAH NAíAHMAH.

    DO NOT LIE!

  • @setandlet "As for facts,There were some WIERD beliefs floating around that made sense to people."

    Yes and one was that your profit BELIEVED the world was FALT;

    Bukhari~~

The Prophet asked me at sunset, "Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know better." He said, "It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again,...

Why didn't he say it was OSTRICH EGG SHAPED?

    Lying won't help.

  • @sirjambo

1)He didn't really say the Earth was flat. You extrapolated.

2)What excuse will you present to Shia and Quranists?

3)Is he supposed to mention in every hadith to do with Earth that it is egg-shaped?

That hadith didn't have much TO DO with Earth!

    But...whose the lier here?

The one who gives proof or the one who is avoiding presenting poof for controversial claims even though the other one is asking for it?

    You use red herrings.

Where is the proof for ALL your claims, beginning to end?

  • @setandlet Where are yours?.

Oh look another Muslim being offended because his retarded book told him the world us a flattened ostrich egg (your words) and THAT if you put in another words that is not in the text then every thing makes sens.

NOW explain to me where the Moons mansion and where the SUN's Orbit and Muddy cave is.

  • @Waage83

OH and the stars in heaven Heaven are lamps that are missiles that ward of Dejins

    And Mountains Prevent Earthquakes

All in your book of stupid.

  • @Waage83

I've given proof for any claim I made and was asked for it.You people apparently can make statements without providing poof.

    How illogical....for "logical" atheists...

Like all non-Muslims who just wish to attack us you make comments without proof and when we ask of it you try changing the direction.I simply asked him to prove the controversial comments and he began all this.

Why should I keep on explaining when the other side in unresponsive and unjust?

  • @setandlet

I've asked for him to justify whatever he said in his first post FOUR times!

He has instituted red herring after red herring

I'm begining to see this as a trick of you anti-Islam extremists

You people also extrapolate.e.g The words are "..the mountains as pegs.."

NO mention of earthquakes!you had no right to say it sad that.

If proof will not be given by sirjambo for his statements then this matter is ended.Next time be aware of the existence of Muslim anti-propagandists on the net.

  • @setandlet What proof all you did was say the same tired of lines that the Quran is true, but there is one big problem.

THERE IS NO GOD!!! prove that god exists before you can use any argument you pedophile worshiping racist.

  • @Waage83

1)I worship God not Muhammad [PBUH] (if that is what u meant by pedophile)

2)You mother apparently forgot to soap your mouth when u were young.

3)Racist? What do u know about my attitude to races?

All I asked was for poof regarding potentially offensive lines yet these "logical" atheists instituted red herring after red herring and dragged on the convo, instead of giving the proof.

I was not here to ague abt God' truth.

This matter is now ended and my request still unanswered.

  • Why don't you stop being lazy and objectively read the Quran from cover to cover, then from the perspective of a fundamentalist who denies and 'cherry-picks' (you appear to have this covered already) and then from the perspective of someone who absolutely hates Islam and Muslims with every fibre of their being (those people are a rarity btw). From these three perspectives of the spectrum perhaps you could objectively see the parts of the Quran that are elegant and beautiful and ugly and barbaric.

  • @MudHut67

And do not forget the Asbab an-Nuzool (“reasons of revelation”). Asbab an-Nuzool involves studying the reason why certain verses were revealed and deals extensively with the history surrounding the verse as well as the affairs that were happening at the time. It also studies the social order in the community of the time and reaches (sometimes more than one) conclusion as to why that verse was revealed.

When studying the Quran the Asbab an-Nuzool must not be neglected. :-)

    Peace

  • @setandlet

    @setandlet

mashallah, do u notice in the end how much u muslims have to study about ur quran, it is seems allah did put u in this life only to study his book, do this, study this, learn this, read hadith, learn arabic, see with ur heart, dont think to much with ur brain.......man turn this time and energy to science and belive u will become a respected professor in many fields

  • @IHateAllReligions

    Truly mashallah. :-)

Hey,I was just supporting brother MudHut67's request that we read the Quran to get to the truth.By the way,I've just finished my secondary education and find science to be only slightly interesting but am very interested in literature and the social sciences (and want to make a career out of those). :-)

  • @MudHut67 - I have read the Qur'an - many, many times - as a Muslim and then as an Ex-Muslim. Have a look at: watch?v=2CHm2xigkBc

  • @CEMBadmins

Good video, but I think you misunderstood my comment. It was directed at 'setandlet'.

  • @setandlet ")He didn't really say the Earth was flat. You extrapolated." No it's allah's. "2)What excuse will you present to Shia and Quranists?" You are the one making excuses and CHANGING the meanings of words. "hat hadith didn't have much TO DO with Earth!" It describes his BELIEFS of a FLAT earth where the sun TRAVELS at NIGHT! "But...whose the lier here?" You are the LIAR. Do you want more proof? ASk yourself what allah CREATED FIRST. That will give you a clue.
  • @sirjambo

O you be quiet! [rolls eyes]

I asked you a simple thing...to prove your original statement yet you instituted red herring after red herring believing you will not be questioned, and your last post, without substance or the required proof proved something. What I asked was proof for each claim in ur first post.I've asked FIVE times.I've come to this conclusion

    YOU HAVE NO PROOF

You just shoot your mouth off expecting no repercussions.

I just wanted to make a point and you let me make it.

  • @setandlet

    "YOU HAVE NO PROOF"

I have more proof that islam is false and it is you that has NO PROOF it is true, NONE! “The first thing Allah created was the pen, then He created the ‘Nun’ (big fish) which is an inkwell. This is what Allah stated (in sura 68:1) ‘Nun and the Pen.’ And He said to it, ‘Write’. So the pen wrote all that will be until judgment day. Then Allah created the Nun (the whale) above the waters and he pressed the Earth into its back...

    Yep a FLAT earth!

    Hilarious ha?

  • @sirjambo

I'll explain what a red herring is

    For example,as Shia and quranists don't believe in hadith by Abu hurraira I said;

"What excuse(reasoning) will you present to Shia and Quranists?"

(and how can u tell I don't belong to either of the groups?)

Instead of answering the obvious you tried to change the direction by saying

"You are the one making excuses and CHANGING the meanings of words."

    THAT,sir,is a red herring.

    Be careful next time.

  • @setandlet

"Shia and quranists don't believe in hadith by Abu hurraira"

It's from Bukhari and even in the quran it says flattened. YOU and mr. Kalifa say OSTRICH EGG SHPED and that is a VERY recent INTERPRETATION. So who is right? YOU and Mr. Kalifa or allah?

~~"You are the one making excuses and CHANGING the meanings of words."

    THAT,sir,is a red herring.

    ~~

NO that is a FACT since YOUR translation/interpretation is a VERY RECENT AND FALSE ONE.

Google red herring you don't understand it.

  • @sirjambo "FALSE ONE." And who will be the judge of that? "THAT,sir,is a red herring." Wiki it. "I suggest you look at how VAGUE and incomplete it is describes" Yeah...I've seen it. Good enough for me and most others! When I said "YOU HAVE NO PROOF" I was talking abt the claims in ur first comment.U again instituted a red herring to get out of it. "Because IT IS A LIE!" THAT is ur excuse for not refuting it?If it is a lie it DESERVES to be refuted!(ever heard of refuting truth?)
  • @sirjambo

You shouldn't be naive enough to think that one who demands evidence for everyone's claims is going to make one himself without proof.

Arabic words that are derived from "daha" mean:

    1-To extend.

    2-To roll.

    3-To even out.

4-Causing to become egg-shaped or creating, making/producing eggs

"the ostrich's mad'hi" means its laying of its eggs, and "ad'hiha" is the nest where its chicks are born.

You have made many claims and again left me here asking for proof.

    Red herrings won't suffice

  • @setandlet

"arabic words that are derived from "daha" mean:"

    Please don't keep lying.

I can give you tafsirs that explain to you what it really means if you like.

Is there a word for OSTRICH in arabic?

Is there a word for egg in arabic?

Neither of those words are in that sura because your allah is clear that he is FLATTENED the earth.

    "Red herrings won't suffice"

I agree so no more ridiculous "OSTRICH EGG SHAPED" excuses.

Isn't it funny how that NEW meaning is ONLY 30+ years old?

  • @sirjambo

    tafsirs?

    there are hundreds!

You called what I said a lie but didn't refute it.

ummm...you know what a red herring is right??

wiki it before u make a fool out of yourself

Quran says it has signs for ALL TIMES.In the literary days of the past the strength of its words, eloquent speech and flow was what attracted people. This is the age of science.People in those days wouldn't have cared for the bit which says the foetus looks like a leach.NOW they do and such points are given importance.

  • @setandlet

"You called what I said a lie but didn't refute it."

    Because IT IS A LIE!

There are words in arabic for both OSTRICH and EGG, and NONE of those words are in 70:30.

EVERY time the earth is described you will NEVER finds words like rotate, round, spin, move, and revolve.

Instead the sun MOVES along with the MOON.

A perfect description of a FLAT earth.

As for embryology I suggest you look at how VAGUE and incomplete it is describes in the quran.

    Was that a red herring?

  • @sirjambo

"instead the sun MOVES along with the MOON."

The Quran implies the Sun moves.not ALONG with the moon.

And If God had directly stated the Earth is shaped like an ostrich egg they would have had no doubt the prophet was bonkers! It was not meant for that time as I have explained before.

I have answers to your querries but I stop here because it is clear to me that you will not provide evidence to substantiate what you said in the beginning. You take the loser's way out.

    not worth it.

  • @MrAtheist1984 fastest growing delusion!

  • now she is talking proudly of the anti Islamic movement in Iran as if it is OK there and yet not OK for wilders to be anti Islam in the Netherlands ?????

  • So if a politician like wilders (who has been acquitted) says almost the identical things as Namazie he is a racist???????

if one flees Islamic law doesn't one flee Islam

Namazie owes a lot to the judeo Christian culture to be able to sit and speak freely, somehow they evolved to this stage... and I'm an Atheist

  • @lyntonio Our freedom rights are the fruits of the Enlightenment, not some fuzzy judeo-christian values.

  • @detersgumig Agreed, & slavery was ended in America by a scientists in Europe that worked out that the earth moved around the sun, not some guy that stood in the mids of the most horrid of torchers and said "he is without sin cast the first stone" or "do unto others that you would have done unto yourself". the baby is in the bath. nothing fuzzy about a prophet that stone, beheaded, and taught hate. there is no enlightenment in the Islamic world, why

  • "Islamists will kill and intimidate anyone who interprets thinks differently"

Talk about stereotyping! Thats like me saying all secularists are warmongering murderers who will kill & intimidate anyone who doesn’t like their colonial ambitions. No wait that would be 'hate preach' if I as a muslim said such (absurd) things but its ok for others to make such idiotic (false) claims and get away with it coz hey they're secular! Just like Bush, Mubarak, Assad, Saddam etc. Secularism = epic fail : )

  • @19SilentPanther90 Predator drone attacks are secularist? Bush was a secularist? You mean the guy who said God told him to attack Iraq? Ok...

  • @badblueman

The personal views of an individual do not matter in such cases what matters is the state (laws) he controls, a state which since its very existence has spilled blood for political/materialistic gains and was built on secularism. More drone strikes happened under 1 year of obama than all 8 yrs of bush! And obama is far secular than bush :p I'm just happy secularism is failing in the islamic world : )

  • @19SilentPanther90 Well, ok then. If secularism will be blamed for your predator strikes, then Islam is blamed for 9/11 and other attacks, I can dig that.

Anyway, regarding "the winning Islam"... when Islam takes over the world... Homosexuals will be safe? Apostates? The theory of evolution? Atheists, Christians... will be able to teach their stuff in public? Or are those things unworthy? What's the future under Islam? Is there any, or will you just stone people and wait for the sun to explode?

  • @badblueman Yes absolutely you can blame a certain interpretation of Islam for the Manhattan raids. I didn't mention Islam taking over the world? Everyone regardless of their beliefs or race will be treated fairly. Apostasy isn't black & white. I guess it depends on what they "teach" in public. Would public preaching of such ideologies/religion be acceptable? No. Debate and sincere criticism of religion including Islam? yes. If you want to discuss this further plz do so on my channel or yours

  • She actually has a slight Irish accent...

  • 26:00 A woman shushing a muslim man. A beautiful sight.

  • mmmmmmm... she's quite a milf... would love to spend a night with her...

  • 32:05 - 32:50

When we say 'Islamophobia', you fucking maggot, we are actually referring to the phenomenon of mass-bigotry and prejudice against Muslims. FOR EXAMPLE: I have an ex-Muslim friend who wears a Hijab (due to family crap), and because of this, because people think she's a Muslim, she is denied job opportunities. Don't you fucking tell me that anti-Muslim bigotry doesn't exist - change the fucking term if you want, but deny the phenomenon and I'll call you out for the maggot you are.

  • @Klingschor You don't have to tell me about how ordinary Muslims (or those with Muslim names) suffer as a consequence of racism and bigotry. But this sort of act should be called out for exactly what it is; racism, bigotry, xenophobia & hatred of others. It's true many use the term to refer to these things - but far too often it is thrown at anyone who criticises Islam as a way to silence them. I avoid the term Islamophobia as it's become problematic & means different things to different people.

  • @discussislam

That's what I mean - you can change the name if you want (I actually think it would be better described as 'Anti-Muslim Bigotry'), but to deny the phenomenon or purposefully strawman it (as the guy in this video did) is disgraceful.

  • @Klingschor - I totally agree!

  • @Klingschor - Also I didn't see where she said: "anti-Muslim bigotry doesn't exist". I know for a fact that Maryam is totally against such forms of bigotry, prejudice and racism and her and her family - like my own - have been subject to such anti-Muslim bigotry - including my daughter and sister - both who wear Hijab.

  • @discussislam

I wasn't refering to Maryam - I completely agree with what she said. My comment was in reference to that twat who mentioned Pat Condell. If you follow the time-stamp I provided, it'll take you to his question.

  • @Klingschor - Oh, sorry, my mistake.

  • @discussislam

    No worries :)

  • Islam kills more people every year than the inquisition did in 350 years

  • @lyntonio

Ermmm if what you're saying is true don't you think its to do with the advancement of weapons and populated cities, no? I'm only saying, no need to think : )

Btw, more people are killed by US drone strikes (1 of many examples of terrorism perpetrated by secularists) than say the No. of people executed in saudi for the past decade. Go figure.

  • @19SilentPanther90 does that comment really help those that are about to be killed....sorry your numbers up because it's easier to get to you.....you did get a trial in the inquisition (as flimsy as it may of been) yet you don't when your Kindergarten is deliberately blown up. ...the word 'terrorism' is used these days like the word 'racism'

America hardly rejoices when innocents is lost, terrorist do....re drones car accident kill mor than world wars hardly a fitting parallel though

  • @lyntonio No it doesnt help them, nor did your comment so your point is? Which kindergarten are you talking about? the ones being bombed in tripoli? or the ones that were bombed in Iraq--a decade after crippling sanctions murdered thousands of innocent kids they weren't given no trials either Their crime? Being at the wrong end of democracy, secularism and freedom *rolls eyes*

The men who shot down an iranian airliner ('88) were given medals and blackwater was awarded more contracts! Go figure

  • What a great talk. She's a perfect spokesperson. Passionate and unrelenting, unwilling to let other talk over her, and great at communicating her position. I like her better than Hirsi Ali (who I still appreciate) because she keeps the focus more on Islam, instead of tightly associating it to rightwing (or leftwing) politics.

  • Maryam Namazie should enter her response to the IERA guy into the pwnage olympics :)

  • Shari'ah does NOT mean 'Law' - Shari'ah means 'The Way'. If you are referring to Islamic Law, just say 'Islamic Law', and leave 'Shari'ah' out of it.

  • @23 mins iera say you can judge Shariah by its fruits.

Countries such as Sweden are secular and mainly atheist, let's compare modern Shariah run countries with Sweden shall we? Shall we compare their fruits?

No, let's harp on about some specific point in history :D

  • Excellent! On iERA's video, all you get to see is Adnan Rashid responding to Maryam - their video doesn't include her speech.

  • All atheists should learn how to spell the word.

  • @MartinJWillett

    Which word?

  • @TheRationalizer - Atheist - I misspelt it.

  • @TheRationalizer I'm impressed! If only the rest of the world reacted as quickly to my suggestions! I'm only eleven minutes in to the video and seven minutes after my comment the corrections have been made. The title and descriptions have been changed. I'll say no more. For details Google "athiest webpage" and tell Google that you know what you typed.
