If anyone had ever been as proficient on both trumpet and sax - Benny Carter is the obvious comparisson. I write as an avowed fan of Ira Sullivan's genius and this clip is great. Real great band, too. Love it, thank-you,

Niiiice. Always wished Ira coulda got more attention. His early stuff was great, and his band with Jaco in the 1970's was great- nad he still plays his ass off... how many jazz musicians of this calibre can play a sax and a trumpet equally well?
