It was one of the greatest things I have ever been a part of. When they announced that Obama had won, everyone of crying, screaming, hugging, cheering...it was truly fantastic! Love, Donna :)
It was incredible! I was on the wait list for tickets and hadn't rec'd anything so I was content to hang out at home and watch the results. Then suddenly I rec'd the email invitation at 7:40pm and I almost had a heart attack! I picked up a friend and was downtown by 9pm. It was one huge, happy party! The city was electric and there was not one single arrest associated with the rally. Chicago is happy to share him with the world now. Love, Donna :)
OMG, Donna! That is an incredible story, I'm so glad they found room for you! Did everyone stay long after he spoke, or did you go out to have a celebration drink or something?
