  • u need green energy like the netherlands

  • and I'm surprised at all of the gullible people who listen to Sarah Pailin and the rest of the drill baby drill crowd .... notice there are no geologists saying this, only a few dumb politicians. The number of americans willing to believe what comes out of the mouth of ignoramuses like Palin is staggering ... but hey, if you know where all that oil is then why don't you start a company and save the day while getting rich in the process. Go for it if you trully believe what you say.

  • What a frikken lie, look if we start drilling now ,oil prices would drop, we have enough here in america for hundreds of years, this is a scam!! In time it woould be 60 cents a gallon, if we drill here NOW

  • @MrOne4truth nope .... get your facts. The oil aint there in sufficiently large amounts. If you pump it out faster, you'll only run out faster. Don't you think that if it were possible the oil companies wouldn't already be making money doing what you say. Get real or drill in your backyard and see if you get lucky.

  • @claudelebel55 You just keep beleiving them, what a bunch of gulable people, You don't get their scam do you, you have no idea what their plan is do you? Can't beleive they actually get people to beleive this crap, listen, there isd NO shortage of oil period!! In the mean time we can switch over to natural gas, electric, ect

  • @MrOne4truth I think the drill baby drill crowd should get together, start a company and begin drilling tomorrow instead of boring us with opinion. Actions speak louder than words. When you show us how it is done, I will be the first to applaud. Keep me posted.

  • start actually doing something about it like ..........yesterday... 4.00$ a gallon here we go dubble dip depression. plus who doesn't hate opec??/? (sudi iraq ext...)

  • A good step to start is electic power. There are great electic cars that get over 200 miles on an overnight charge and work better and perform better than the leading fossil fuel cars. I think this is definetly something Boone should take a hard look into because if we can make a product that doesn't need fuel, perhaps the rest of the world will want to buy it and then we could possibly use that to get out of this economic ressesion.

  • great ... sounds like a great idea ... again ... and just what are you actually proposing that we DO about it?!? Or more accurately, what are YOU planning to DO about it?!? Or was this just another opportunity for another sound bite? Come on, show us that you are actually any different from any other politician that is bought and paid for by oil companies and giant corporations ...

  • Just to bad the Second law of thermodynamics is going to trump most of these plans. Seems in order to free up the resources to make the transition to a new energy reality we need to shut down the consumer economy in the midst of energy abundance. And while the very beginning of the squeeze is starting now all wish for the past and think they can make the change without pain. For that to happen one needs to find a new Saudi Arabia every year or complete a nuke plant every week. Likely?

  • Oil supertankers are sitting ducks that cannot be effectively defended. Once one or more of the 20+ countries who have the hostility, means, and motivation to destroy them act, fuel prices in the USA will skyrocket to upwards of $20 - $25 a gallon. Obama and Pickens have complete retards advising them, or my technology would be being developed and implemented in the real world rather than its current virtual world due to lack of development resources.
