On about 8/5/11 i saw strange flashing lights near sunrise mountain. I thought they were planes but they were constantly mixing and moving closer together, and at 1 point it seemed they all intersected and spread. i went inside to get somebody and came out and they were all gone and no sign of anything.

Oh I forgot to mention. I've seen lights come from the sunrise mountain area. Little dots that come one after the other. They could easily be helicopters, but why would they come in groups from behind the mountain?

I haven't seen a ufo and I live in vegas. But that might be cuz I don't go out much:P I might have seen one when I was younger but I was a little kid back then so i could have been looking at a blimp or something and thought it was a ufo.

@TheEzarock satalites dont circle citys, and they dont take breaks from orbit. i live in vegas and i saw this on the same day, i have a friend who saw it too. the ball of light was above the strip and below any hight a cloud could be at, i watched that shit for days man... the first day i saw it out of my window cuz it wouldnt move and i knew it was too bright to be the north star and to big to be a star, it was still so it wasnt a plane and it gave off blue green and purple lights

i saw that on the same night. and so did one of my friends on the other side of town by blue diamond i saw that thing fly around vegas for about 4 nights. it just kinda circled vegas for days i guess.. that shit creeped me out. it moved slow ad it would stop and stay still for an hour at a time, i cought it in the sky after leaving a friends house around 5 am so i called him and told him where it was in the sky, he aaint a skeptic anymore because of it

Not a ufo, it is a ride on The Stratosphere, it's called The Sky Jump. It was a really bright light at the end of the cable.

jamesdeanvegas is correct guys.. This is not a UFO! Look close at first and you will see the cables. It's being lifted back up to the deck on the tower. It's called the "Sky Jump". Search it here in Youtube.

hate to burst your bubble but thats not a UFO.. its a ride at stratosphere... like cliff diving.. its a person on a line that jumps and it slows you down hella fast.. and then they drag you back up......so what yoru seeing is a light shining on a person being lifted back to the top....I know .. i live in vegas and see it regularly
