It runs photoshop cs5 and coda just fine. Also plays hd movies just fine. So it'll probably do everything but games. And I have a ps3 for that.

I was waiting for Apple to upgrade the Mac Mini because I was seriously going to buy one. The price is far too high for outdated technology. I think Apple was too embarrassed to show this at WWDC, and quietly released it during all the iPhone hype.

If you want a Mac Mini you are probably better off getting the old stock as the shops try to get rid of it all.

@amex02 : the older ones are not bad and if you get a mount for it you can mount to be back of a vesa capable monitor or on the wall to save deskspace

@graphattic : netbooks are a waste......and for a different purpose, this thing is much better amply power ans is a desktop computer.....everything has it niche....and this would find its way among students, basic home users, internet cafes, small companies, possible banks.....and used as a home entertainment system......and to sum it up its a high quality unit

@graphattic It think it can, just by its form factor and mind you it is gonna sell regardless of what we both make of it - and it can run windows natively so it would find a wide audience. I personally don't have a need for this incarnation I have a 2007 model I bought second hand that works just fine. It was the top spec in its day and is still relevant now - on the other hand i upgraded from a 20" base imac to a 21.5 which is a dream. Graphics, cad, entertainment, gaming, it's a great machine.

@Xx7Zeithious7xX you should probably look into this because this guy doesnt really know what he's talking about and its really not useless if you upgrade this thing it is still cheaper than the imac and just has a few ghz less that the imac the mac mini is actually a great "desktop" computer so its kind of stupid that that your saying its useless, i understand your humor involved in this post but in all seriousness this is actually a great pc.

@23forrestgump Thank you for your comment. However, even if that's so, I'm not a Mac user at heart. Hell, the only Mac related product I use is an Ipod Nano. I've always used Windows so I'm biased as well, lol.
