how come i rarely see people who owns pump action or semi autos in the UK? I understand that you can't keep more than certain (2?) shells in the tube, is cost the only reason? please enlighten me, thanks.
@aaron4820 For all i know is, that for clay pigeon shooting the standard here in the eu is a superpose or over-under shotgun however you like to call them. I also never seen a side-by-side used or a lever-action shotgun, but i just started shooting. Don't even own a gun yet, have to wait a year before i can even get a permit. O, bt, i'm not from the UK.
@aaron4820 Over and unders are just more "traditional" so the older generation use them alot, i have a semi and a O/U and use both for clays. O/U are normally more expensive as well.
I am ex saftey officer at cross keys clay pigeon club, Saddllworth, I send all my love and sympathy to the relatived and bereaved in Cumbria. Guns cannot be blamed because a mad traindriver could kill many more. Guns are innanimate till picked up by a madman. Bows and arrows can be made by a child.SOCIETY is dying because of intolerance and greed. Guns are only a part of this worlds inventions of dangers. I could steal a plane and fly it into tower blocks, a 12 guage pales into insignificance.
OMG, you are killing crows, you are discriminating crows and i am going to start a protest. XD LOL no i am just joking, i am just making fun of all those discriminating and protesting assholes.

Hi,
The target was about 30-40 yards away and I think he was using 26gram No.7s.
