Yes, Galina may be tough on him, and maybe it's wrong, but at the end of the day she really does want what's best for him. Look at how genuinely upset she was when he was underscored at the Olympics, and it obviously wasn't with him. And while we're on the subject of Galina, she would have been so beautiful in her day. <3

@AphroditeEros33 Yes, she is sweet as she's making AMENDS. She insisted he "suck it up," when he fell over and over for how many days??? - until it finally occured to GALINAd & assist. to have SKATES examined - warped leather, his foot was landing 1/4 or 1/2 INCH HIGHER on ice.

@AphroditeEros33 After Galina's treatment his self confidence was destroyed and he got very sick TWICE. Now, he's "sucked it up," and she feels badly. He adores her and always gives what she needs. He was better off with his other coach... who didn't use harshness. It's saddening GALINA did not realize the "approach" for this fragile soul till now; she cost him (and herself) a lot.

@winer65 YES, he was very sick with fever & in hospital IN KOREA as well with virus earlier... very sick in Japan too. It's unbelievably grueling and 15 + HOURS ON AIRPLANE AIR can cause illness if defenses not strong... his were not psychologically coz of earlier stressors.
