I really want to get this procedure done but one of my major concerns is that the growth is visible, so how do I hide it? I can't always wear a hat. I am a female by the way.
@BlasianQT101 typically the scabbing and discoloration is only present the first week. thereafter, you can hide the little early growth by combing your hair downward and forward. in short, you can create some bangs to hide it.
Dr. Lam, do you find hair patterns and hairlines of Asian women significantly different than that of Caucasian women and therefore requiring different methods to each?
@MacaulaysClubKid no pain. that is why i use sedation during the time i put the anesthesia in. you feel nothing at all. that is not the case in 99.99999% of clinics out there where this procedure is done with no sedation.
@pinkysux if you mean negative, not that i can think of to put here on an answer unless you are prone to female pattern baldness and lose hair behind my work that may necessitate another transplant.
may i know around how long will it take for the hair to start growing?

@dehPears generally 6 months after. watch my video when hair grows and type my name dr. lam and you will see the video that is more in-depth.

That does make sense ! But thanks for explaining :) and one more question can this procedure be done due to aging and lost of hair ?
MacaulaysClubKid 1 year ago
@MacaulaysClubKid yes, absolutely. half the reasons i do it is for female patterned hair loss.

@samlammd wow thats awesome but would it hurt without the sedation or anything..?
MacaulaysClubKid 1 year ago
@MacaulaysClubKid it would hurt more. that is why i prefer sedation so that there is NO pain.

ARE THERE ANY CONSEQUENCES FROM THIS IN THE LONG RUN?

how does this work?? the red areas are because you shaved her hair off or did u do some kind of hair transplant? is painful
pinkysux 1 year ago
@pinkysux
1. the red areas are the recipient sites (holes) where the hairs will be transplanted.
2. no there never were hairs there.
3. yes, it is a hair transplant.
4. not painful because i use sedation during the procedure
