@Baconstealer303 We don't brush everyday, but you should brush them at least 3-4 times a week. Start one they are young so that they grow accustom to routine brushing. They better they handle being brushed, the easier and faster it is to do so.
@niktactoe The first thing you need to train your dog is 'take it', so that your pup doesn't take the treat until you give him permission. Then train your dog to catch treats in the air if thy can't already do so. Once that is established, use small treats and toss them in the air (about 6" above his/her nose) from right in front of it's nose. Once he can catch it from such a close distance, start putting the treat on his nose and tell him to take it.
my wheaten has only been able to do that trick once. and it was because he didn't even see the treat on his nose cuz he had so much fur covering his eyes

Do you really have to brush wheatens every day? Also....do you take them to get trimmed at the groomer? If so, how often?

After watching this video a couple months ago, we tried to get our wheaten Cody to learn how to do it and we taught him! It is such a great trick!
