  • I wonder if Rivers had to read this one off of paper too. ;) jk, I love Weezer.

  • I really like how Weezer plays a lot of covers.

  • fuck me

  • @lonelyXessence I made your comment get 69 likes ;D Don't you feel special. I wish I was special.

  • Scott should sing a lot more!

  • nobody does it better than radiohead

  • is the singer readin an article ? how cold he is..

  • Is that Scott Shriner singing? It doesn't sound like Rivers, Brian or Pat.

  • @2k10woody Yeah, it's Scott.

  • They did amazing, but I liked Korn's cover of Creep a lot better!

  • nope.

  • fail

  • @jamesfidi2benwa Idiot.

  • good karaoke song!!!

  • @jconasesameseedbun One of the best songs in the world in my opinion, but I suppose when combined with your opinion thats a fucking big compliment to Radiohead haha

  • why does everybody cover creep? it's not even a good radiohead song. as far as radiohead songs go it fucking sucks.

  • @jconasesameseedbun

i think its a pretty great song

  • @grimchain but radiohead has so many much better songs. creep is just overly simplistic and over played. i don't even think that radiohead likes this song anymore.

  • @kaweichan Nah, processed isn't the word. More like...polished. Musically it sounded good, but there wasn't anything raw or emotional in it just like you said. =)

  • too..processed. I think. Not enough rawness or emotion :P

  • If I was at a concert and someone covered Creep instead of one of Radiohead's more amazing songs, I'd barf everywhere. I'm so tired of people only liking Radiohead or knowing them for this song. They have so much more briliance than this song. Don't get me wrong, this song is great, but it's so worn out. If you're a real Radiohead fan, you don't identify them with this song.

  • @IsabellaIsaklepto well said man this is one of radioheads greatest songs but u really have to listen to there other stuff to really apreciate there music :)

  • @IsabellaIsaklepto

Radiohead more amazing songs. But I think what makes this one THE radiohead song is moreso the emotion put into it (by thome york). Some of my favorite Radiohead songs consist of: all i need, exit music, let down, the bends, and I will.

But honestly, lyrically none can stand up to creep. It's just that song that people can relate to.

  • @IsabellaIsaklepto I barely listen to any other songs by them, but I like Karma Police and High And Dry too. Could you recommend some songs please?

Also, Creep is their best song. Karma Police is a close second. The rest... I actually don't like too many of the ones I've heard.

  • @Werewolf211 I am one of the biggest Radiohead fans out there, so I love all of the songs. If you like Karma Police and High and Dry, I'd recommend listening to The albums Ok Computer and The Bends. Their later stuff is a lot different, but it is just as amazing if not more amazing. (:

  • well, i think that the cover is good and it's obvious that the original song it's better when the real band play it. also weezer is an excelent band and i love all his songs

  • not bad at all their covers of Nirvana Breed and Oasis Morning Glory are good

  • Well of course this isn't better than the original, but I am indeed surprised at the ease and eloquence weezer has succeeded to bring with this song, unlike some other covers, they kept the melancholy, wretched atmosphere.

    Well done Weezer!

  • Weezer are brilliant even though I prefer RAdiohead.

  • 90% of covers dont sound nearly as good as the original, but to say this is awful simply cause a band covered it that you may not like, or that the original artists (radiohead) arent performing it, is ignorant and just downright impressive that some of you people not all of you, are just that narrow headed, take the damn song in stride it is what it is...a cover, i wish some of you would just realize that.

  • @Salfuran It'd be okay if the real Weezer were covering it, say, circa 1994 or so. New Weezer doesn't count. Rivers Cuomo is dead to me.

  • LOLZ I LUV CREEP CAUSE IN THAT GAME MAI MOM BOUGHT MEEEE.

  • I like this video.

  • awful

  • Worst cover I have ever heard

Radiohead is the only one that can perfect it

  • @FEMA360 Then it wouldn't be considered a cover, since Radiohead MADE the song.

This is passable, at the very least, as a cover by Weezer in my opinion.

  • creep sucks... top 3 worst songs of radiohead... that's why even them they dont play it live anymore

  • @dannybiach The only reason why they don't play it as much, is because the band doesn't like the song they will only play it upon request.

  • @FEMA360 real RADIOHEAD fans know that they have at least 30 songs better than creep...

  • @dannybiach : Sorry dude. Face facts. Radiohead can release 20 more Kid A's but they will never top Creep. Ever ever? Ever ever.

  • @skrason who gives a fuck about that, im talking about making REAL MUSIC

and Creep sucks dude! seriously... is that your favorite song of radiohead?? Im guessing you dont know any other song hahahhahahahhaha!

  • @dannybiach : Actually, I've seen them a few times, live, starting with the OK Computer tour in Chicago. I think "How To Disappear Completely" is a masterpiece. Honestly, I liked Radiohead better before they started trying to sound like Kraftwerk. But, and I don't mean this in a disrespectful way, you're probably too young to even know Kraftwerk. Most Radiohead fans are too young to realize they weren't the first nor the best. They're still incredible, though.

  • @skrason whaaaat? ok your gonna have to be more specific... on what album are they trying to sound like Kraftwerk?? cause I know who they are and I think they are too electronic for radiohead... well it depends what song, tell me at least 2 or 3 songs from kraftwerk that sound like radiohead and ill admit that you were right...

  • @dannybiach : I didn't mean they were ripping off Kraftwerk or anything. I just think they started becoming "weird" knob-twiddlers for weirdness' sake around Kid A. Don't get me wrong, I think that album and every album after have at least 3 gorgeous, amazing songs on them. But 30 years from now, no one is going to be singing "Like Spinning Plates" around a campfire. They'll be singing Creep, though, because it's timeless. Know what I mean?

  • two megabands!!!!!

  • in guitar hero game, there is no song like creep...

  • @Takamatsu240 it's in the game Rock Band

  • Why would the audience clap during the song?!

  • That is just not true.

  • @rollingstonecold I disagree wholeheartedly. I've played live easily dozens of times. It makes it harder to keep a beat, because 99% of audiences can't keep a steady beat.

  • i agree

  • @rollingstonecold i have played live many times and tbh i cant hear the audience . ....so WE keep the beat

  • @rollingstonecold

    you are fucking stupid -.-

  • And you are?

    Kids these days -__-

  • @rollingstonecold

Someone who played live performances countless of times. do you know of ear plugs? Well maybe you play in lousy cheap gigs or smth thats why you dont. Even if you dont have an earplug, im sure your drummer are well trained enough to have a metronome, which is himself and doesnt need the crowd to clap for the sake of keeping the beat....you must have a bad timing yourself for a musician who play live....like seriously

  • Are you serious? I'm a live musician, and audiences suck at keeping tempo, that's what drummers are for.

  • @gregsher88 why wouldnt they?

  • @gregsher88 cause its in JAPAN....

  • @gregsher88 They're probably trying to reincarnate radiohead out of them!

  • @gregsher88 theyre japanese

  • @gregsher88 They're in Japan. The Japanese do stuff we question all of the time. Selling worn girls' panties in vending machines? Yep - the Japanese.

  • @gregsher88 have you ever been to a concert one of the would of clapped their hands 4 like a second. and they all followed

  • @gregsher88 their tards xD

  • @gregsher88

ya i guess the people actually at the concert should have been more considerate to the people who want to watch it on youtube

  • @gregsher88 because theyre in japan and japanese people don't know what's going on.

  • @gregsher88 because they're american

  • @gregsher88 To keep rythymn with the slow part of the song. I wanna say clapping on the downbeat.

  • @kotakotsu If you were a musician ,such as myself, you'd know that playing live and having the audience clap does not help you out.

  • @unCIvILGamingPs3 But i am a musician. I have played trombone, baritone and the Tenor sax for a while now. I personally have never been to a rock concert, nor do i understand why someone would clap while a musician is playing. They never do at any concert i have been for the CSO(Chattanooga Symphony and Orchestra). Also, Some one already posted a great answer to this. As a musician i am sure you can keep time yourself, yes? So you can ignore the clapping.

  • @kotakotsu People do a lot of inexplicable things at rock concerts, try going to one. Might be fun.

  • @gregsher88 They're Weezer fans.. :P

  • @gregsher88 it's japan, it's just what they do lol

  • @gregsher88 have you been to a concert before?

  • It's really difficult to cover better radiohead songs, I cant see anyone doing climbing up the walls for instance :)

  • no one can mimic the true radiohead style - not even portishead lol

  • Does anyone not cover this song?

  • bxcvb

  • love this song and weezer rules

  • both awesome bands

  • yeah, some girls still love the great silent type guys, like those who never speak up until too late...

  • Comment removed

  • no-one plays it better than the original artists.

  • @lonelyXessence i disagree. you do have to remember this isnt studio quality, but i will admit that i like the radiohead version of this song better

  • @hcortens well then, that's my point so I can't find your disagreement on this one :]

  • @lonelyXessence but its always awesome to hear a different version of the song sung by an awesome band as long as it doesnt suck which so far as i can tell other than the audio this doesnt

  • They're not too Snobby, They just hate the song. And they still do play it, they just don't like to.

  • yeah radiohead should totally care about what you think about their music and cater to your desires.

  • Well, I wasn't saying that exactly. lol now that I look at it, that comment was a little rude of me. I just really don't understand why they hate the song.

  • It was too much "pop", got misinterpreted and became a part of the shallow mainstream of music, while songs like "Street Spirit", "Idioteque", "Pyramid Song", and "There There" were legitimately great songs and became famous in a way that was more acceptable to the band.

How was that? Was that a good explanation?

  • yeah im sure they wanted songs like thoes to appeal to a certain audiance.. and it worked out quite well

  • Radiohead, that is.

  • wish that they made an actual recording of this song.

just so the sound quality would be better

  • this is terrible,

  • 手拍子・・・

  • Clapped

  • another band to the extensive list of famous musicians who have made a cover of this song

  • radiohead actually requests certain musicians to cover this song... im pretty sure radiohead is completely tired of playing this song... they never do at shows

  • i dont wanna be rude but you are terrible wrong. radiohead is playin this song in their world tour in rainbows. it s true. i was there.

  • doubt it.

  • They played it at almost every show they did in South America.

  • South America was the exception for the In Rainbows tour then. They play creep on a slim-none basis, which is probably a good thing, cuz that means they play more songs from The Bends on...

  • They played for the South American people because they hadn't toured there since the days of Pablo Honey. But before that, I don't think they'd played it since 2006.

  • actully i saw them in seattle and they didnt play it i dont know where you saw them but t was probably because of the venue and how its a pop song

  • search for: radiohead creep mexico city foro sol.

  • dam they went there on my birth day i wish i went and i was in mexico city at the time i heard they didnt play anything from poablo honey

  • Ur mouth r filled with damn true, they actually don't like the song... they never did.

  • thank u!

  • thom yorke pretty much hates this song. this whole album actually.

  • guess what, i saw them playing creep , march 2009 live Santiago, Chile. :P

  • Wow, this cover turned out really good.

  • nice

  • Who is on vocals in this one Rivers or Scott?

  • That's Scott. He was doing Creep at a lot of shows, I believe. I know he did at at a few shows.

  • GOOD!
