  • Why was this closed? And where is this located?

  • You totally ruined it with your stupidity!

  • yeah me 2 im only 12

  • To bad this place closed. My sister would've loved this

  • since when is november spring? do u live in australia?

  • You should have kick down the door to the witches house and went inside there could have been cool things in there

  • asome

  • why didn't you go to the castle? anyway, looks like a kickass place to trip in the summer....

  • Kinda reminds me of a cross between Blaire Witch Project (or some other movie with a camera thing) & Return To Oz lol

  • I was told this place got taken down

  • that place is just creepy lookin

  • 4:03

I'm sorry hAHAHa, I'm.. That made me laugh so hard.

  • please !!!!! for God's sake, stop trying to be funny.

  • This park isn't abandoned. I live just a few minutes from here. It is open one weekend in October every year. If you go on that weekend, the place is PACKED. They have actors acting out the characters. There is also a store open there and you can get postcards with pictures of how the place used to look.

  • I, on the other hand, like your humor! keep these vids coming!

  • Did you ever find the wizard? Or did the road just lead to nowhere?

  • this place isnt abandoned.

  • Doesn't look abandoned so much as it looks closed for the season. How long has it been defunct?

  • The Wonderful Wizard of OZ was a story about taking control of the money supply away from the elites and returning to a system similar to "Colonial Script" , Dorothys shoes WERE silver in the book , the scarecrow represented the people who collectively HAD a brain , tin man-industry (needing liquidity) and the cowardly lion was William Jennings Bryan .. wicked witch (west) was Wells Fargo , East was JP Morgan ,, just as in 1899 JP Morgue today is fighting liquidity in the form of SILVER..

  • I prefer the more serious tone of your other videos.

  • Hahahaha I love her laugh!!!

  • this place would be a nightmare to go to trippin on acid hahaha

  • great video. I appreciate your videos and the time you put into them.

  • hows that global warming working for you lol

  • 4:04 - 4:06 is one of the funniest clips of all time

  • oh my good granny.. forgot that movie existed, lol

  • being from statesville, nc...my parents took ne & my brother back in the early 80s before they shut down. they still have some pics..i only remember a little bit..but A+ for effort sir!

  • Love the video.... Just wish they weren't so... produced. IMO your vids were better when they were just straight up without all the music and editing. Gave them a more genuine feel. Also in my opinion the music in the background has gone from a mild earsore to straight up annoying.

Just one Youtuber's criticism though. Keep up to good work!

  • @TAGundam I agree 100 percent. I also wish the videos were more about the place you are at, not constantly trying to be funny.

    But good videos either way.

  • Amazing.

  • According to the website this place isn't abandoned and you can rent it out.

  • @euvi85 It's not abandoned, just, left to looks the way it does. It's former employees all gather there once a year, and the owner of the land organizes it.

  • @Darkherooftheday Yep! Basically after it closed in 1980 people went and stole a lot of the stuff and they are slowly trying to restore it. It's not truly "abandoned" it's just no longer charging admission. There's a website all about it but I can't post the link.

  • "the wonderful wizard of ARARRGH!" lol!

  • Lots of info about this place here:

    emeraldmtn DOT c o m / LandofOz / landofoz.html

  • Cool Seldom used park, It's nice someone takes care of it by the looks of it, the yellow brick road is in amazing condition.

  • That's why the place doesn't look run down; the owner of the park actually does care about preserving it and uses the money from the October event and private events to keep it in good shape.

Technically Adam, it was risky to sneak around here. You're lucky no one was taking a private tour or staying in Dorothy's house the time you visited, otherwise you would have gotten caught.

  • This place actually isn't 100% abandoned. The park is still open to the public every year on the first weekend of October for a special ticketed event called "Autumn in Oz."

The park is also available for private group tours all through the year, though you have to pay $150 to have one there. You can even pay to have a wedding there. You can also pay to spend the night in Dorothy's house, but again it's pretty pricey to do so (continued)

  • That's really cool! Great video Adam!

  • Munchkins? They looked more like Garden Gnomes if you ask me. Great vid Adam, thanks.

  • There is no plant growth over taking the area & the paint looks OK on the buildings. There must be someone taking care of this place. Also no vandalism to this place which is unusual from abandoned parks the Woo has been at before. Is this a place anyone can go to? Very cool none the less, Great work as always Adam the Woo.

  • can't believe its not all vandlized, but then most likely the locals would just blast them

  • Great video!Do you know if people would have to pay to get in here back in the day?

  • Damn if you said it closed last year I would have believed you. That place is scarily well preserved.

  • i used to know rick moss, who bought the oz rights from the owner of this place for dirty cheap, was gonna make a huge "wonderful world of Oz" out in oklahoma and after 9/11 the project stopped before breaking ground. Thanks for all the work adam! Subscribe ppl!

  • i bet this place was cool once.

  • first
