  • How is it possible that everybody knows Paris Hilton and nobody knows these guys?

    Crazy world.

  • faaaarkn awesum, love it ;)

  • I LOVE Russian gipsy music! It's so melodical, so dramatic. The whole gipsy sorrow is in it.

I'd also recommend everyone to listen to Sergey Orekhov.

  • @Vladislaw81 yes, see my other videos, i recently uploaded some great recordings of Oekhov playing.

  • AMARE ROMA MISHTOI

  • My Russian friend is an awesome professional acoustic guitarist. I've posted one of his tracks under the name "Sasha the Guitar Man" if you're interested.

  • i deleted his comment and blocked him

  • Very nice playing!

  • Could anyone, please, explain to me how to play the tremolo that Vadim is playing around 0:40? It looks like a simple rotation of the elbow so that the index finger repeatedly strikes the string, but the problem for me is that my hand is moving at a different path going up than going down no matter how I try it. Is there a trick to this?

  • a lifetime of practice. its not simple at all.

  • Hes just strumming a chord with index finger up and down.

  • Thank you for the reply. The joints of the finger itself don't move, though, right? It's the elbow that does the work? Is there an up-and-down movement, or is it purely rotational? And should the arm be tense or relaxed?

  • its just with the wrist, finger joints dont move, its up and down.

  • Thanks! I guess the problem was that I tried it with too much rotational movement.

  • Przepiękne!

  • OPA ! Taven Baxtale ! Mamo ... Davaï Sacha !

  • This has been a favourite of mine for awhile. I like the melody the guy on the left is playing from around 3:45 - 3:50... and the crazy speeding up near the end... really great work.

  • Perfect this is very nice to hear. it reminds me on the time when the mafia had the force in their hand.

  • yoy dolay i havnt seen roma use ther hands like that in a while

  • I haven't heard these songs since I was little, thank you!

  • Awesome playing! Funny how authentic gypsy music sounds so much better when played by authentic gypsies.

  • Jesus, this is amazing!

I'm absolutely going to look for the sheet music.

Very beautiful performance! I appreciate it very much!

  • ah nevermind i thought capitals were bass strings. forget what i said :)

  • yep, wrote it in order from trebles down

  • are you sure its DBGDbgd? i thought for sure it was DGBDgbd

  • How did he tune the guitar? I am very interested in this style,so beautiful

  • read the descriptions box, to the right of video ;)

  • forgot that...are the capital letter the bass strings?

  • the capitals are the trebles. so from top string to lowest bass string it is DBGdgbd'

(ie, the top string is tuned to 3rd fret on second string of standard 6 string guitar)

  • i befriended vadim 2 days ago, we played at the same festival, really nice guy, he played an excellent show last night.

  • Reminded me of Django Reinhardt's playing.

  • FIRST TIME i EVER LISTEN TO A SONG ON UTUBE, UNTIL IT ENDED!!!.

  • i think i have found part of my blood in this.

  • Thank-you so much - at last a quality video with Vadim playing, and his uncle is quite awesome. My uncles used to play tzigane tunes on the 7-string guitar, their grandmother (my great-great-grandmother) was from the same tzigane family as that of Aliosha Dimitrievitch.

  • Ooops! I meant my great-grandmother. :)

  • i love the way alosha sings gori, gori, lubov' tsyganki. im learning some gypsy songs on 7 string, might post vids soon.

  • the best!

  • Thanks for this video. I love this song!

This is really great arrangement to it, it seems hard to play :)
