Is the left pianist Ralph Rainger, the composer of most of the Paramount hit songs of the 1930's? He was a virtuoso pianist in his own right as well. There was a Paramount musical short on here that featured his solo playing but it has been pulled.

Grew up to be Sally Rogers on the classic TV show, 'The Dick Van Dyke Show" (look closely, and listen closely, and you'll see the resemblance)
