It's a bit ironic that those who oppose science wouldn't even know embryos existed if scientists respected all their bans.

The UNFPA has repeatedly lost funding from the U.S. due to its support for government programs that promote forced abortions and sterilizations in countries such as India and China. Pres. Reagan and both Bush administration witheld funding because of this, yet in Jan '09 Obama restored U.S. funding. Is it ironic Obama is courting India and China so endearingly? Also, Thoraya Obaid of Saudi Arabia (UN Under-Sec General) has been head of UNFPA since 2000. Coincidental? I think not.
