maybe my favorite soundgarden song, if one can pick such a thing...His voice on this track is heart stopping. I couldn't listen to this while trying to do any work cuz i'd just trance out from that amazing guitar riff
@TheMbelmonte13 check your inbox, I just answered your question but for some reason it wouldn't let me post it on here! I made my answer pretty detailed cause I don't know how good you are with computers so even if you don't know a whole lot you should be able to get it.
I get fuckin knarley goosebumps from how kickass this song is...easily in my top 5 fav soundgarden songs!!! BTW seeing them at the Gorge July 30th......i'll probably cry when they come on stage.
you're lucky bro... i picked a hell of a time to go overseas. waiting 10 years to see them and i book a vacation. i just hope they keep it up and tour again.
The Sub Pop guys said it best in one of those documentaries, this sounded too good for some crappy underground Seattle band at the time it was made. Still sounds amazing, one of the absolute best songs they ever did.
i remember being "music's gotta be fast to be heavy" and all the standard punk rock rhetoric and then a friend asked me to go see "this band" open up for voivod. that was 1988. soundgarden played the heaviest show i've ever seen that night and nobody, nobody bothered to stay for voivod. nothing against voivod, but that night soundgarden blew everyone away.

Daaaaamn, just listen to the drive in this song. It's so fucking slow, it just flows! Those were the days when music didn't have to be played in a certain way to be appreciated and released. The "old" Soundgarden would never be released if they started today, and just think what we would have missed. You got to play from your heart, that the point. And never (again) work with Timbaland haha ;)

Anyone else get a Vietnam vibe from this song? Napalm burning jungle combined with soldiers marshing into their deaths.
