if you could find a washer looking/shaped magnet you could flow more air, more safely. i like your thinking sir. maybe a small chain or string could keep the ball from being lost if it blows open on a vehicle too. perhaps a short "string" could even self reset the ball in proper place again....?

i think it can be made even simler again.lets face it .....you are only making this with parts available. imagine if you went to a machine shop and draw up a sketch and have them make upsomething wich a cnc machine lathe. the concept is perfect.
This one is quite a more elegant that your first one (the one with the bicycle parts)
Nice.
I mark it as a "Hit".
You should be careful with the water level in the bubbler.
"If" the level gets really low and "if" you get a flashback, that hole won't be big enough to let the pressure out fast enough to prevent the bubbler from .... ummm.... disassembling itself into a million tiny pieces.

Thank you :o)
Its an old character i modeled maybe 10 years ago for a died webproject..
The magnetic-psi-relief works really well.
I dont know how often it worked without any fail, maybe 1000 times, could be less or more.
I like the dry *bang*, but my neighbours do not ;o(
They are chicken, that i blew the house in parts to jupiter.
Its hard to explain the difference between storage and on demand to people those scared..
Best regards Stefan

Yes, and maybe if they would not be at Grandfather and grandmother for holidays now, this magnetic psi-relief where never discovered.
This plastic tractor was a great shrapnell-shield and gave me a strong feeling of safety
Later on, im driving around with it, and dream a dream of no fossil fuel using vehicles.

If it works only a few times I still think its genius, with an idea this simple it could be worked until its perfect. Please keep them coming.

Thank you.
This bubbler was only for testing, i know that the proportoins are not good.
I need a higher tube (30cm) and only 5-6cm in diameter, that would be better, that there is not so much room for gas, if the waterlevel is low.
But thanks for warning, a exploding bubbler is not my favorite thing.
Today i made a test with 4-5cm air in the top of that bubbler, and it was like a small gunshot, but nothing happend.
But maybe better i dont let the level drop below that..

That is a very interesting idea and a nice use of an old mouse ball.
