  • I agree, but when does humor become disrespectful? I used to work in retail, and I've seen associates take it to boundaries that they shouldn't go. And when they think they're about ready to get caught, they become serious. It pisses me off, I never took it as far as them, and I actually did my job, but I'm the one that gets called down, it's just not fair.

  • i agree. i worked in retail too and i was the only employee in a large store who showed up on time every day, never complained and did my job.

    i'd get all kinds of the shit from management while the people who no-called or came in when they felt like it (hours after their shift started sometimes) get to run around like they own the place. i was the only white employee in the place, the rest were black. you do the math.

    i was "sense of humor" guy, though. said "fuck you" and quit one day.

  • He gives a quick summary as to why a sense of humor is important and how he tries to spot it in just 62 seconds. Pretty good job.
