  • nice shot the dogs dnt have to chase that one down

  • have you boys ever watched english shooting? we shoot shoot them in the head not the fucking arse.

  • Nice shot. Although a wide angle always makes it look further.

  • how would you compare shootin these to a grouse? when i flush a grouse i can usually get it a little more than half the time

  • I like your video! Brush the haters off. Where are you hunting at?

  • nice shot. that bird aint goin nowhere.. im a duck/goose hunter.. and these are easy compared.. but nice shot

  • I agree with how you work your dogs. I don't train steadiness to wing or shot! Don't need it as hunt wild birds & the dog would want to have jet packs on his feet to get shot at the height you shot! Some poor comments below I must say! Comments for an audience I reckon!

You might like some of my vids...

  • i like how he cares less about his dog. ha ha...

  • Damico07. I too am from Scotland and I live to fish and hunt. It's common knowledge, here certainly, that you have to give a pheasant time to gain a little distance before you shoot. The mistake most novices will make is shooting the bird too close and smashing beyond use. There should be no more danger of merely wounding the bird than if you shot it too close as long as you can shoot.

  • nice shot

  • your not only ignorant but your anti hunting points give me a head ache...how can u tell someon to hunt when you yourself have never partaken in the tradition?

  • I was always told that it was wrong to assume anything, but I guess you were not ! I live in Scotland and not only do I hunt, with both shotguns and rifles, I also fish, trap and hunt with hounds. I live for the chase and for the food that it supplies, and having shot thousands of Pheasants, I`ll stick by my comments that there is nothing hard about shooting this Pheasant up the ass. And my Labradors don`t `run in`.

  • thats what a good dog does dumbass....have fun hunting in scotland with your fucking hounds.....why would you let a pheasant get out farther when you can shoot him at a close range...clean kill and no crippled bird....your saying you want the bird to get out farther so there is a chance of not hitting or hitting the bird and not finding it.....i thought you were a dumbass before but thanks for confirming that.....

  • nice shot, you folded him like a taco haha.

  • dumb

  • nice music great video!

  • Yep, pheasants are cake after shooting ducks and geese my whole life.

  • Little dangerous how your dog ran out before it was shot. I make sure my dog stays put, he knows not to go until I say so. I just don't want to shoot him haha

  • u couls c the feathers flying around

  • that better not have been phillip the friendly pheasant go shoot peter the perplexed pigeon

  • novel way of doing it - good one

  • WFT are you talking about?

  • Do you have any clue on how retarded that was? "You could of shot someone if someone was out there". He was in the middle of a wide open field. And that is not a dove that is a pheasant. My God I hate stupid people.

  • oh he is talking about the standard rule of field hunting that you should never shoot a birld that low to the ground even if you think that no one is out there because that is how people get shot at least that is what i was tought in hunter safty don't know what they teach were you guys are from. As for not knowing his game birds that is something else he should have leard in hunters safty Hey you should use that set up on a duck hunt it would make for some cool footage.

  • i agree.....didnt even let the bugger get 20 yards away....you cant reali miss form that distance

  • LoL.. Dint understand a shit.

    Retard

  • nice shoot and no picture

  • Nice shot x 2!

  • Camo4x4s, I am using a Sony 520res.

gmcpheator, point blank would have been if I pulled the trigger right when I was on the bird. Notice how the gun was on the bird for a while before I pulled the trigger? As for my dad's dog, she was trained to break when a bird gets up. We normally hunt wild birds and we want our dog to be on a bird quickly after being knocked down incase the bird is crippled and trying to run. If you don't like my video(s), don't watch them.

  • All that build up to shoot a bird at point blank. Use an airgun next time its more sport. The dog was running to retrieve before the bird even was shot. I think it needs re-training if it intends keeping it's ears.

  • You will like my target shooting video... Are you using the sportsmans gun cam?

  • nice shot
