....Sonic destroys the first two and then jumps wherever they aim the control stick. You have to aim the homing attack. You can boost or spindash off cliffs (although you can always hold back on the analog stick as soon as you dash off the edge of the curved surfaces in Speed Highway and be spared, and there are usually fail safes, rails, and low routes to minimize the chances of dying). Deal with the camera and don’t mess with the autopilot scenes, and you’re unlikely to find any glitches.

Here are more player errors: If you tap B twice, you will go in and out of the spindash. Mashing B constantly can create the illusion of getting hurt unjustly when you collide into an enemy. There are few glitches in SA. The controls become inverted when gravity switches in Sky Deck (the wind fights you in WV), you have to fight against the force of gravity, you have to aim the rockets into the cannons; but the game has few glitches. People spam the spin dash, and keep tapping B when they go off ramps or ledges, thus canceling their jumps—“GLITCH!” they scream. They mash A three times in a roll when they see three item containers, two next to each other and another farther away....

I kinda wish they'd give the Adventure games the same treatment they did Generations - Sonic Adventure with Generations graphic engine and polish (no bugs) would be an instant buy for me.

I played this game as a kid and loved it. I replayed it recently and had to take it out. I couldn't believe how glitchy it was. About a month later I decided to put it back in, expecting a lot of glitches, but I actually managed to get through the game while enjoying it. To the people who haven't popped this game back in in a while, bad news, it's not going to be as good as you remembered it to be. Give it another chance, though, you'll still enjoy it. Not the best 3d sonic, but still enjoyable

and the console version is getting some good stuff, but it has too many cities/urban themes for my taste (3 of 9 zones:Speed Highway, City Escape and Spagonia. i'm not saying they are exactly the same, but it doesn't show good variety.) there's also a rumor that the HD version will get some co-op missions, but Aaron disconfirmed this in an interview.

@Pyro25100 I do count it as a Sonic game though. And I consider the storyline canon, since it was right after SA2. Many of the characters from SA2 returned, and they way that you could manipulate the way the story went was wonderful. Gameplay was almost the same as SA2, and the graphics were decent when it came to cg cutscenes and in game appearance. It told us more about Shadow's past so he wasn't just some random clone of Sonic. I will admit though, the multiplayer mode sucked.

When the Dreamcast was the greatest thing in the world and I couldn't wait to get home from school so I could play an actually entertaining game. I still believe, to this day, that Sonic Adventure is one of the greatest displays of video game music ever. Nothing will ever quite be like original Sonic Adventure.
