I also have an 08 Heritage Softail Classic (FLSTC). Have been considering changing mufflers to get a true Harley sounding bike and yours sounds more of what I want. Did you try both - the 1.75 and the 2" baffels? I assume you went with the 1.75 because of the poping and so you didn,t have to get a tuner, RIGHT?
Love the sound you achieved and will have to change mine soon.Thanks

Not when I put on the Rush mufflers with 1.75" baffles. Not necessary at all, in fact gas mileage went to about 47 mpg. With 2" baffles it did a bit of decel popping and gas mileage went down.

@Bret08FLSTC ; Thanks, just ordered my Rush Slip Ons for my 2008 FLSTC also with two inch baffles. I was just wondering what to expect.
