By the way, perhaps you can answer a question for me: in the diner scene, Fields says to the fat, ugly waitress, "Morning, beautiful! What do you hear from Gorsha?" or something like that. Do you know to what he's referring? I'll bet it's funny, but it's frustrating not "getting" it. Thanks!
I love Bill's odd sayings and too am intriqued by their (hidden) meaning. I found reference to "gorsha" on the urbandictionary site, not very nice! Of course I have no way to know if this is what he meant but it does kinda make sense.
According to his biography, he drank 2 quarts of liquor every day for 30 years.
