I want to drive one. but I dont know anyone that owns one. So im talking my Dad into buying one lol. So we can both have a Mustang GT and a pontiac GTO so we can trade off. since he is a pontiac fan.
He is right, these are great cars. Anybody, that owns one, will agree....Ive got a red 6 spd just like it with a Procharger and other mods (you can see it on my channel).
@mustang19ms Watch the Top Gear reveiw of this car (Vauxhall Monaro) Both the Vauxhall and the Pontiac are basically re-badged Holden Monaro's.
The Holden is an Australian car, so the chassis is pretty much perfect. Very good weight distribution, you can really throw it around in corners without it biting your head off.
To the comment about Flowmasters, yeah they sound good, but they kill power. Just ask any Dyno shop. We picked up 30 hp opening the cutouts on my buddy's TA!! He now has a Borla. ;) Magnaflow flows well too.
im buying a 04 gto tommorow and looking to do cam, valves rods etc etc, and stick on a twin turbo. if anyone knows where i can get this professionally done please let me know. im from canada.
Great video, but what he said about the 05-06's getting dual exhaust; the 04's did in fact have dual exhaust, both pipes just ran to the left side of the car.
my 2005 has the actual early version where the bumper was painted rather than the black plasticy one. also was around low low 20k with 20,144 miles. 300 pt vehicle check from certified techs with a 4 year warranty that covers everything which is worth the extra money. so far no mods...no track times or anything...just daily driving for a few months of learning. just now warmin up anyways got a vid of me doing 160 plus on my page with some bikes and shit.

it needed ls2 because of its heft i like the 05 06 gto but it is heavy i have 2002 ws6 blk on blk my outdated ls1 hauls ass

The car is extremely fast, no argument there, I am just worried on how it does on the corners.. high speed of course.

i would recommend it. Wonderful Cars, even though alot of people will talk trash about the looks. You just cant get a better deal for 400 hp.
