But just because someone is a great singer, you can't deny it when in a performance they don't sound like how they used to. Be it fatigue, stress, personal issues or lack of voice that day. Whitney went through problems herself- is she still a legend? Yes. Is she the best still? Not really.

She did a good job, though I wouldn't say it was better than the original. Christina's songs are very hard to sing, sometimes even she struggles but she always serves. RAG had to lower some of the notes. Personally, I prefer Christina's voice now kasi it has aged and its more raw. You can feel when she's singing now, and obviously you would know if you appreciated the original. Well done to RAG though, Bound To You is one of Xtina's most technically challenging songs.
@mandifadsa i think RAG need not to lower the note since the key of the song is same with the recorded version of Xtina although Xtina is singing it live by lowering one key..Yes, i must admit that even Xtina is struggling she still serves meaning the performance is there but for me Rachelle Ann did better than her singing this song live considering RAG's tempo is faster.

She did a good job, though I wouldn't say it was better than the original. Christina's songs are very hard to sing, sometimes even she struggles but she always serves. RAG had to lower some of the notes. Personally, I prefer Christina's voice now kasi it has aged and its more raw. You can feel when she's singing now, and obviously you would know if you appreciated the original. Well done to RAG though, Bound To You is one of Xtina's most technically challenging songs.

@mandifadsa i think RAG need not to lower the note since the key of the song is same with the recorded version of Xtina although Xtina is singing it live by lowering one key..Yes, i must admit that even Xtina is struggling she still serves meaning the performance is there but for me Rachelle Ann did better than her singing this song live considering RAG's tempo is faster.

in fairness, no bias, Rachelle did a good job in this song,... she did justice to christina as well.. although i'm not really a fan of miss rachel, i must admit she's good.

uhmm this gurl is good. but to say she did better than xtina is just stupid. shes singing on the same key as xtina. the thing that varies is their style, christina has an aggressive style of belting while this girl has that sharp karaoke-ish tone. notice how she struggles reaching the high key, since this song was not on her range nor her style.
dont compare, theres nothing to compare really.
