This is not a Socialistic movie. Yes, the party in the movie is a democratic party but if anything, it shows corruption, greed, and the immoral/unethical truth of politics. A friend of mine plays a political aid in the movie! I didn't see her in this trailer. She's a beautiful biracial woman. I'm told there was consistent banter between her and Ryan off camera, and she got direction directly from Clooney (hand on shoulder).

This film was absolutely amazing! Great film..Ryan Gosling delivered a stellar performance...plus he was soooo cute and sexy in the film. This film kept me on the edge of my seat the entire movie. All the other characters were awesome as well and executed their parts well. Please go see this film..I saw it twice today and its worth your time and money.

@RawVSsamckdown Yeah, aside from the fact that in "The Ghost" the politician in question was retired from office instead of running for it, the main character was a writer with no political agenda instead of an ambitious political staffer, that the plot of "The Ghost" was based around a murder mystery and conspiracy involved instead of simply a high-stakes election, and basically every other thing about it, the two movies are EXACTLY the same.
