someone should never be turned away because they dont have insurance. I find it discusting. And now karen has to suffer because her doctors had no compassion. i dont know how some people can sleep at night knowing they have an ability to save a life and dont.

in all of the 60 billion people in the world 47 million people without health insurance is just wrong i mean i'm not saying its there fault or anything i'm just saying its wrong and it just...well i'm sorry i have nothing more to say because well i'm utterly speechless this is so sad! but i'm happy to see in some of it shes laughing and having fun and spending time with her family (buying wigs) and to see that her family cares about her like that.

for the first time, i find that i not only agree with all the comments below, but add my own voice to this urgent issue we are facing today- universal health care should be a non-partisan issue, it is neither 'left' nor 'right', i don't claim to have a complete answer but healthcare is a right and not a privilege, americans should not fall behing nations such as Canada or the U.K. in caring for its impoverished sick.

This whole documentary is very compelling and worth the 90 minutes. I know that some will label this "left-wing propaganda", but this is a sad reality for too many Americans.

As long as our elected "representatives" are in the pocket of big Pharma and big insurance companies, not much will change.
