I taught my Hero Power Chao, Penny, my dark two-tone white(blitz) Chao, Blitz, my shiny blitz Chao, Sparta! and my Hero Chao, Dash to come when Knuckles whistles! it was so they'd like him enough to rencarnate twice so I can try to make one of them into a Chaos Chao! They don't actually have to like you to play music with one another. You just have to pick them up and move them over to the one who's playing music, although it's pretty hard to get more than 3 playing at once that way before they stop. =^p

Oh, what i forgot to mention was make the character whistle.

Sometimes it doesn't always work though, as some Chao may not take interest and walk away from the one who's started playing the music.

The only time I've seen them "not take interest" is when they haven't been taught to play a musical instrument at the Kindergarten. =^p Even if they can't play, sometimes they sit and watch.

I can't believe I never thought of whistling for them. =^. I would've thought it would interrupt the one playing so it could come to your call.

If you jump & let yourself fall most of the way down (so you can see the ground, but the Chao cannot reach you) then start to fly, the chao will run around in circles trying to catch you. It looks like some kind of tribal worship dance. It's funny.
